Keep on top of the cleanings. Spectra filters are well made with good materials and the cover helps protect the filter from damage. Together they make a great team.

this "wrap" can help keep your filter from being plugged too soon with larger debris, but it is not fine enough to prevent dust and fine dirt from getting through. I wanted more protection than my K&N type oiled cotton filter could give - it flows more air than regular paper type, but doesn't filter as well. This really doesn't help filter much since it still allows almost all fines through. I went back to stock filter box and paper type panel filters because I need to keep out the fine sandy particles. On the plus side, this mesh may extend cleaning times for oiled cotton filters and it does not restrict much, if any.

Thought I would try this with my new intake & I'm happy with the results. I like the extra protection it gives in keeping the filter clean, but not restricting air flow

Bought this for my Spectre filter that I purchased locally to give me some more piece of mind through the winter. Fitment was perfect, not exceptionally baggy like other cheap filter socks. Installation was easy. I've also noticed several times now that I have opened my hood after driving to find water droplets beaded up on the outside of the filter sock so it looks like it is doing its job in preventing it from getting into the filter media. My wife has one on her car as well and we noticed after some extensive driving on gravel/sand roads that the filter sock had trapped a lot of fine particles that were easily wiped away but would have otherwise ended up in the filter media. Very happy!

Keeps water out my intake it was a tight fit but fit perfectly

Horrible, I bought this for my ram1500 , this darn wrap was so small it wouldn’t fit a vegetable can , yeah do t buy this . I hope this company pulls there head out there a$$

Works great n fits great. No issues. Used on my aem dryflow filter i bought n fits like a glove. As long as you know the dimensions of your filter. You shouldn't have any issues.

Bought this to help keep larger debris out of the air filter. It did not affect the airflow in my application. It's a little expensive but I knew it would fit well since it's the same company that made the filter.
