Like it.
Not sure what it is supposed to taste like, but I like it. I guess if one has no experience or prior expectations one can not say ‘it is not supposed to taste like…’ one can simple say ‘I like it’ or ‘I do not.’ Not sure if I will buy it again, next time might try something different, otherwise lunch at work becomes boring. Someone else complained it contained no MSG. For me the absence of a chemical flavouring is actually a positive thing.

Magic taste powder!
Tasty as *4 letter word, disguised with symbols, removed by Amazon for profanity and hate speech?!*. If you're looking for that umami hit, this is the stuff for you. As an aside.....I'm struggling to see the 'hate speech' in the word that I used - if anything, it was love speech. Innit.

Disappointed
I should have checked the ingredients better before purchase because I wanted something authentic tasting but this has no msg in it and therefore little flavour. It also gave me bad breath which is sometimes a sign of low quality ingredients. Overall not worth the price.
