LCD Display & Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly Replacement for Apple iPhone 5C

I bought this when my boyfriend bought a shattered iphone 5c for super cheap. We bought the screen to hopefully get the phone working and let him have a good phone. When the package came (wrapped in bubble wrap) everything was clean and working well. We installed it as soon as it came in. The Good: It came fast. It was in great packaging. I felt comfortable putting it in. It was clean and everything appeared to be in order. Once we replaced the old screen everything worked when we started it up. I was so excited. It seemed to work well for a while. It was exactly what we ordered. The Eh: 4 months after we bought it, the phone started acting up. It was doing "ghost" clicks. The phone will act like a button has been pressed when no one has been pressing any buttons. We took it in for someone to look at it and they said that the digitizer might be bad. That doesn't necessarily been that the products digitizers aren't great. Maybe we got a defective one or maybe when we replaced it we did something wrong. Also, something that really doesn't relate completely is that I wish it came with an installation kit. I mean they know what we are using for, it wouldn't cost that much to have one of those included. Overall: For the cost of the product (and the cost we got the original phone) this was totally worth it (even if it was only for a few months.) I am not quite sure what our plan is with the current phone (my boyfriend keeps trying to use it.) Everything seemed to be great. I'd still recommend the product.

This is the best screen I have used to repair an iPhone 5C period. and I have purchased over 20 screens for the iPhone 5C from different sellers in the past 6 months. The packaging was second to none, the screen came with the ear speaker screen in place but also the front camera retainer which I have never seen before, I have always had to remove it from the old screen and transfer it to the new one. The quality of the LCD and digitizer seem to be comparable to an OEM screen as far as I can tell. I have only had the screen on for a few hours and will edit this if I have an issue later on since this happens to be for my personal phone. The delivery was not as fast as some of the other seller I have purchased from but It is worth it to me in this case at least to wait a couple of extra days for the screen when the quality and price are this good. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to replace their iPhone 5C screen.

I work in computer/cellphone repair and have fixed 200+ iPhone 5C devices. I bought this to fix a friend's phone and it came in very nice packaging with a free screen protector, tools, and a nice note. I had my own tools and don't really recommend using the provided ones. All of these side bonuses would be great if the actual product was. These screens are obviously not tested as well as screens from other brands which means the number of defective parts is probably 3x more than a higher quality one. Also, the adhesive they use to bond the glass to the plastic assembly is terrible and will separate even without you dropping your phone. The screen I used worked fine for 2 days and then the digitizer (touch screen) stopped working. I later found out that it wasn't the digitizer on the part, but that the part shorted out the digitizer controller on the motherboard. This means that the phone was now useless and would never have touch functionality again. Don't buy these screens unless you want to end up buying a different part or new phone down the road.

What they don't tell you is that you have to move over the home button, earpiece, from camera, and digital proxemics. But whatever. It took about 30 min with three or four videos on YouTube. Not hard at all. Will add pics of the screen I replaced and the kit that comes with it. Basic but complete. Everything and more that you need to remove the screen and put it back on. Also, there will be one extra screw from the camera. It's fine, everything will stay in place.

This screen went in easy and everything worked out fine(at first). In what I now suspect is a fault of my own, the screen would start out clear as day and slowly turn cloudy, which I now think could be a loose lcd connection issue during installation and not a fault of the manufacturer. Either way Amazon was more than willing to refund/exchange the screen and the second try is still going strong. This review is still 5 stars because I am not totally convinced it was their fault for the first screen messing up and because they were so willing to replace it. Highly recommended.

After buying several complete assemblies that include the small parts, I thought I'd save some money and buy a unit without them and do the install myself. Working with the tiny screws and limited instructions is a pain in the rear end, but is doable and met the objective of saving some cash ($15 to $25). If time and ease of installation is a priority, then go with the assembly that has the small parts installed. Otherwise, this item is for you.

It fit perfectly and was not expensive!! And if you're like me and did not want to waste like 50-100 just to have someone replace it for you I suggest to look up how to do it on YouTube because it's not hard at all! I only had trouble when I was trying to connect one of the cables so my bf helped me with that and sadly he cracked the top left corner when trying to pop it back in place 🙄 Regardless I REALLY recommend everyone to get this

When I first bought this screen it worked great! It looks exactly like the OEM screen made by apple, and the display is very high quality. However after a few months the glass digitizer started to separate from the housing. I am not sure why this happened as I did not drop or mishandle the phone, but I am giving it three stars for this reason. I have tried a few replacement iPhone screens and this seems to happen more often than not. I am giving this product three stars (which is generous) because its a quick cheap fix for the short term. Don't expect it to last very long though.
