This one is really gluten free and if you're not totally vegan, great for a protein source.
Well digested, and a bit of a stomach settler for me. I find it dissolves better into hot ingredients (20-24 oz) by an add a rounded scoop, stir well, let set for a few minutes, and stir a LOT again. (I am medical vegan, not a moral one, and I didn't use fur, leather, or honey for a long time before doctor ordered me onto diet so I do consider self more vegan than not). It may turn a burnt taste, if you take this with 2 teaspoons or more apple cider vinegar in a 20-24 oz preparation, that kills the burnt after taste well. I do not do fruit smoothies because of blood sugar issues, so cold dissolve/mix I have no experience in. This does provide a nice amount of protein per serving. I am seeing some improvements in joint pain (borderline plaque psoriasis) and related, and my paper thin razor fingernails and paper/laminated toenails (lifetime) plus hair (split ends on split ends on split ends) by going to roughly one serving a day on this item. Will recommend as it will provide one equivalent serving of hard protein (23-25g for a 4 oz lean beef buger) to someone's daily diet, if you're willing to ingest hard (animal derived) protein. This is in the realm of Kosher for a protein source (gelatin on steroids, not the drug just a comment) and easy to digest. I do look for more vegetarian sources for my protein, but can state: This is TRUELY gluten free-if you are celiac this is NOT made in a facility that also processes wheat. I have proof in growing out finger and toe nails, plus hair, that this will help you. I have proven improvements in joint issues that will help you. I will totally say this is worth the $40 a container price as a dietary AID. Subscribe and Save to a container monthly is my suggestion, per person in your household using it, increase that by one for every fourth person. If you are doing 'bulking up' instead, you may need more per month.

Great for my dog!!
Bone Broth Protein Powder for Dogs – A Delicious and Nutritious Boost! 🐾🥣 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I’ve been using bone broth protein powder for my dog for a few weeks now, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! This product has been a great addition to my dog’s daily routine, and I’ve noticed positive changes in her energy levels, coat condition, and overall well-being. What I Love: High-Quality Protein: This bone broth protein powder is packed with collagen and amino acids, which are excellent for supporting joint health, muscle recovery, and overall vitality. As my dog is getting older, I wanted something that would help with her mobility, and this has been fantastic for that. It’s an easy way to add extra nutrition to her diet without the hassle of preparing homemade bone broth. Tasty & Easy to Serve: My dog is usually a bit picky about new foods, but she loves this protein powder! I simply mix it into her regular meals, and she devours his food like it’s a treat. It has a natural, savory flavor that dogs seem to really enjoy, and it’s so easy to incorporate into their diet. Supports Allergy Health: One of the biggest reasons I started using bone broth protein powder was to help support my dog's allergies, as she had some allergy flare-ups. Improved Coat & Skin: Another positive change I’ve seen is that her coat looks shinier and feels softer. Bone broth is known for its collagen content, which is great for skin and coat health. Her fur looks healthier, and I’ve noticed fewer dry patches or irritation. Great for Digestion: Bone broth is also fantastic for gut health, and my dog’s digestion has improved since we started using the protein powder. She had fewer stomach upsets, and her appetite has been steady. Things to Consider: Serving Size: Be sure to follow the recommended serving size based on your dog’s weight. I like that the powder is easy to measure, but I always double-check to avoid overfeeding. Storage: Like most powdered supplements, you need to store it in a cool, dry place to maintain its freshness. I keep the container tightly sealed, and it’s been fine so far. Final Thoughts: I highly recommend this bone broth protein powder for dogs, especially if you're looking to improve your pet’s joint health, skin, coat, and digestion. It’s an easy-to-use, high-quality supplement that provides significant benefits, and my dog loves the taste. Whether you’re dealing with an aging dog or simply want to give your pet a nutritious boost, this product is definitely worth trying!

Great way to get your proteins in
Great for everyday use. Flavorless. Great in shakes( I mix with some warm water first then add for better mixing) , smoothies, or as a broth.

Sweet
How did everything I needed in it. But way too sweet. Next time I’ll order the unflavored.

Very good protein and collagen powder, mixes well with water if the temperature is right.
I give this protein powder 5 stars!! It is very easy to mix in hot water no more than 125 degrees F. Too hot it turns into hard clumps and too cold, it just doesn't mix. I bought the Pure and mix with a little honey. When I first started this it upset my gut a little bit so I cut back to 8 ounces of water and less powder with no problems. I only use once a day and sometimes will skip a day. I like the protein content -- and some days I just don't feel like eating eggs, this is a good start to my day. Also comforting for late afternoon after dinner.

disappointing ingredients
I don't know how I missed this but for some reason Ancient Nutrition started BLENDING chicken and beef together in their Bone Broth Protein "pure" forumula. WHy? I have no idea. There is a large population of people that use this product that have Alpha galactosidase allergy (Alpha Gal) from Lyme/Tick bite and absolutely should not ingest beef products. I hope Ancient Nutrition addresses this issue quickly and honestly. 3/11/24 Update: Company responded and said they were not being deceptive but wanted ALL of their products to contain all types of Collagen. I responded back to them and asked why they indeed did DECEIVE the public by keeping the same exact label that was known as CHICKEN broth protein for many years (Axe even said for many years they were working on getting certified organ Chicken which has not yet happened) and only adding in small print on the ingredients label on the back that both Chicken and Bovine were blended together. While at the SAME time they have COLLAGEN products as separate products. Especially If they wanted their traditionally KNOWN Bone Broth Protein PURE version with ONLY CHICKEN as source to now contain both beef and chicken. IT does not make logical sense that they would have separate collagen produts (that contain both chicken and beef); market them as collagen products and then turn around and add beef/bovine to a TRADITIONALLY known and sold as CHICKEN only product. THeir answers are typical corporate answers. I do hope ANcient Nutrition stands up and corrects this problem. I'm sure it costs less for them to mix chicken and beef together instead of running separate lines of just chicken but they really should be listening to what the public wants and needs first and then their almighty dollar second. Very disappointing.

I first made the pancakes and they did not even pour from the spoon, they were gloppy and the taste waws less than desired! The next item I made was the Broccoli-Cauliflower Soup and again was not great tasting. My husband and I both had a bowl full and then I proceeded to eat most of it over the next several days, as I do not like to see food go to waste, but my husband would not touch it again! The last thing I made was the Blueberry-Banana Smoothie and it was pretty good, especially the texcture and the taste. I have talked with others who have also tried this product, different flavors, and vanilla is not great, but the Turmeric is a favorite. I will continue to try other brands until I find one I like well enough to use several times a week.

A definite bone broth flavour
Great quality, but you will taste bone broth if you try and make some kind of "sweeter" smoothie. Good for a savoury choice, and nice quality.
