It dose protect the lense but it dose cause glare when recording around light . Being able to see the platic dome makes the video look a bit off but its price was worth it to protect the lense build is also good but need to get something to help remove finger prints and glare. Easy to use and looks cool .

After going through run-arounds with Eufy/Anker regarding replacing a doorbell lens cover that fell off, I gave this a try.It fits perfectly and so far (after 2 months) it's holding in place well.The doorbell is at our front door and is protected from weather though. If you are thinking about using this similarly and your doorbell gets directly hit with rain/snow, I'm not sure how much protection this will give.It adheres with a thin ring of adhesive which doesn't look to be substantial enough to provide any sort of seal.I actually considered trying to run a thin line of silicone around the perimeter, but the area is so small that I didn't feel there was any way I could do that without making a complete mess of it.Yay to whoever it was that first found this as a jerry-rigged option as a Eufy doorbell lens cover.Boo to Anker for not standing by your product and making a replacement lens cover a purchasable option.

Bought this (Ricoh Theta SC2 variety) for protection of the front bumper camera on my Tesla Model Y. Installation is easy and the product certainly looks solid. I took it to the touchless car wash for the smoke test. It didn't come loose! The one-star deduction is for the fog that formed between the cover and the camera lens.....it went away after several hours and may not be terribly avoidable.....condensation happens.....so a minor observation (wouldn't really call it a "problem").

Premium lens my a$$. These are cheap plastic protection of poorer quality than those officially sold by Insta360. They call it premium lens guard and you'd expect a glassed protection which would reflect light much better, these however are crap. Not only they poorly atrach to the camera but also create a bad angle for direct sunlight and most footage looks bad.Do Not Buy.

Easily get scratched. Glare onto the protector that gets captured by the video.

I was very concern about attaching the X3 to my ebike because of all of those people Ive seen on social media showing how one drop of their camera shatters their lens which cost almost the same amount of money as buying the camera new. I didnt want to deal with such stress so I decided to buy this protector lenss which instead of you attaching with 3m tape like the other ones sold online , this one actually has a frame that attaches it securely to your camera. The lens feels very solid and clear and upon recording I didnt notice any drop on the video or picture quality. Experiences may vary if you take it underwater. I dont think it was really desing for water activities but still I am very happy with this product. I will give 5 stars in my book.

Love these lens guards. They actually glass and feel a lot more premium than the stock lens protectors that came with the Insta360 x4. Durability and scratch resistance are definitely stronger. The fit is nice and tight and they function as they should. Definitely great bang for your buck!

Product is not at all suitable as lens guard firstly it is larger than original one ,has more bulge resulting in image quality and glare in image,it is scratch magnet tried cleaning it with lens liquid cleaner and soft cloth used for lens still got scratches on it .its fitting is perfect rest using it as spent such big amount or else it is not worth

Waterproof , great at providing protection to lenses of x3. Can't access the charge port but lens caps fall off so the best option out there at the moment. Plastic will scratch but it beats having the lenses damaged.
