At first I had some issues with getting this set up. I couldn't find an interface software to use with this and my devices. But I wound up purchasing some software called Devcom 2000 and this works very well with this Hart Modem.

This product was helpful for out in the field. Only set back is that you have to drag your laptop out for field work. It was delivered on time which was huge because I needed on that date to meet deadline.

While other handheld Hart protocol devices were costing in the range of a thousand dollars or more, this little device did an excellent job of communicating with our oxygen probe. Plug and play, download pactware and flawless connection.

I use this item in the oil & gas industry. I understand the price point infers less quality than like products. However, this item is not even toy quality. The connection cable is coming out of the y connector. The signal when hooked into the hart loop is all over the place. The reading back at the hmi is 2mA high. Over all it’s not accurate enough to be safe when on a critical process. Get what you pay for.

Works Great! Just make sure to download the driver - link posted in the questions above. Used this to set up instruments from Vega, Rosemount, E&H, ETC. Works with Pactware.

Works 100% out of the box. Very easy to set up and load the drivers. Connected to the field equipment on the first try.

the zipper of the case is damaged, if you close fast it it don't close, otherwise the modem works correctly.
