Excellent product... solidly built, and adaptable to all of the current PS5 models! This is exactly what I wanted; I lay my PS5 Disc console on it's side, looking like a pregnant whale, very poorly supported on the standard arrangement that has no securing screws unless I use it vertically. It falls off that stand whenever I push the buttons or insert a USB cable. This OIVO stand is worth the price, and then some! Very pleased, Highly recommended!

Unboxing was a breeze, NO ISSUES noted at all. There is a "installation video" on the Product page, so it's a good idea to take a quick look at it as there is some good, product pertinent, info in the short video. It literally took me approx. 3 minutes to install these. A good idea is to look on the outside of the box to see where the stabilization screw is packaged. If you don't know where to look you'll never find it....LoL It took me longer to look for that dang screw than it did for me to install both stands once I found the stabilizer screw. I really like how the stands actually "lift" my PS5 console up off the shelf. They are also stable, they don't "wobble" back and forth, especially with the stablizier screw on the side. The stands themselves are actually made for the OEM side plates, so if you have any after market plates (I.e. D-Brand etc) these won't properly fit. I guess if you wanted to keep an aftermarket panel on the top that wouldn't be an issue, but obviously, up to you. I brink this up, because that's the "issu" I ran in to. I decided to put my OEM plates back on in order to use the OIVO stands, because, quite honestly, they are the MOST STABLE STANDS that I've ever used.

The stand fits nicely and easy to put together. I have the disc version so didn't need the inserts. The inserts are some kind of foam, like foam rubber, not plastic. Guess the screw that comes with it will keep the foam inserts from being compacted by the weight of the PS over time.

For the most part, ignore the one and two star reviews, particularly people who submit videos. Many, though not all of those reviews, are from people who don’t understand the product or how to install it. Beware of the reviews that say a product is garbage because it showed up damaged. That has nothing to do with the product. Beware of the reviews that say the product isn’t any good because they didn’t install it properly. The instructions are clear and diagramed and multi-lingual. The product was a little challenging to install because it fit the unusual shape of the PS5 so perfectly. I consider myself quite good at these sorts of installations. But in this case I had to stop and read the directions and think about what I was doing and look at the parts closely a little bit first which was a change to my normal routine where I ignore the instructions. That was actually a bonus because it was a puzzle, but it wasn’t a stupidly impossible hard puzzle. This is just a very cleverly designed product that has clever instructions to install it. I gave the design a 9 out of 10. It’s highly engineered to fit the non-standard shape of the PS5 perfectly. But it’s designed beautifully. It has an aesthetic appeal that is quite good. It comes in black or white. I chose black for my gaming setup. If you keep your PS5 with the white factory panels, the white stand will look nice. The black stand accentuates the black console in the middle if the plates are white, leaving those as highlights. Either the black or white stand will go well with the standard PlayStation 5 white/black color. If you have different color cover plates from Sony like the blue, the red or any of the chroma colors, I find that the black works best for me because it highlights the center portion, which is black, making the plates stand out. If your PS5 have a special design artwork on your cover plates, say from your own custom artistry or a Special Edition from Sony, depending on the artwork, black or white might be better for you. This ONLY works with OEM cover plates, not the D-Brand plates. I also have my PS5 set up for night time playing right in front of me and with the black color the stand becomes invisible and makes the PlayStation look like it’s hovering about 2 inches above the desk. Very cool. The reason for the 2 inches underneath is so you can mount a disc drive under the console. I don’t use disc media anymore, but if you did, this allows for that option nicely. The other design feature, which is the reason I bought the stand, is because that the little plastic feet that Sony provides to prop the console for horizontal placement, leave the console wobbly or rocky on the desk, flat at least, but not super stable. I appreciate that Sony bothered to include little feet to mount it horizontally but this stand does a much better job. This stand makes the wobble go away completely. It’s super solid, flat and level. Well done. Money well spent. I gave the design fitment and build quality a 7 out of 10. It has rubberized surfaces against the desk to keep it from sliding, but it is made out of durable plastic to keep it affordable. If it were made out of wood or metal it would have been much nicer overall but likely more expensive. Plastic is fine, as it only needs to last as long as the console will, 5-7 years. The tongue and groove fittings aren’t perfectly as snapped-in as I would’ve liked, at least in the example that I received, but otherwise it fits well enough. A single metal screw that’s provided, fits into the hole Sony provides for their vertical stand (which I don’t recommend for few reasons). Once you close the stand up against the sides by squeezing it together on the rubber feet against the PS5, tighten the screw down, snug not over tight, and the stand literally picks up with the console if you move the PS5, like it’s all one piece. You cannot remove the stand without unscrewing it from the console first. No slip or jiggle. Solid. Very nice. I didn’t find any real issues with this because the console doesn’t move when in use. I give an 8 out of 10 for price. It’s a cheaper option than what Sony offers which is only for a vertical position. The included plastic feet work but let’s be honest, they do the job but don’t seem to be as well thought out as Sony’s vertical stand. In any case, it’s because the PS5 has such an unusual design shape itself that stands are also….unusually designed. I like that I was not forced to purchase a vertical stand from Sony but had that option as an extra if I choose keeping my purchase price just for the console, but the price for Sony’s vertical stand is about $10 more than the OVIO horizontal stand. I prefer my PS5 horizontal for my desk situation. This has good value for the money. Would I recommend this stand to someone who wanted to mount their PlayStation 5 horizontally? Absolutely yes, whether you have a disc drive or not attached. I am happy with my purchase and now my PS5 Slim is super solid, flat and level on the desk and does not wobble and looks amazing at night when the black OVIO stands vanishes and the PS5 hovers like a spaceship with curved edges from its own light.

Reviews are misleading. This is perfect, easy instructions because there labeled on the plastic. L, R, for Ps5 Disc, Pro, etc is labeled on every piece, even the Foam inserts...lol only tricky thing is you need to get the edges under those lips. That's why I sent a video... Ps very stable, and should run cooler with Disc Drive off the TV Stand...

I bought this for my ps5 original model and at first I didn't think it worked for the original, but all you have to do is expand the end pieces and it slides right on! Looks great, the colors match, and its pretty tightly connected to my ps5.

Only foam doesn't fit other than that, very sturdy and useful horizontal stand for PS5

Raises the distance between my cabinet and the PS5 by a lot. Really helps creating a better airflow, keeping my PS5 cooler

OIVO PS5 Horizontal Stand has remained tightly sturdy as it holds my PlayStation 5 in place, after about a week of use, and of course allows air to flow without issue. Its white colour blends in smoothly with that of the console. Also, the stand is secure even without the secure screw through the PS5, on top of a flat surface. While I'm switching back to my OIVO PS5 Stand with Suction Cooling Fan and Dual Controller Charger Station, this is purrfect for players who needn't its extra features. For a simple, sturdy, sleek, and tight stand, the price is worth its value, especially with a coupon as available. S‘all good, man!
