Minty Mint
Is it real mint? I think so. It certainly has that clean strong minty aroma, cooling sensation and sinus-opening effect often touted as mental clarity! I’m inclined to believe it’s pure but after reading somewhere that mint repels bees, I went out to my community garden where we farm bees smelling strongly of this stuff and the bees descended upon me quite fixedly, causing everyone to remark “What’s up with you and the bees?” I had to go home and wash off as much if it as I could, which wasn’t easy. So either this is not pure mint oil or that business about mint repelling the bees is pure bunk. I pat this oil very lightly on worn clothes to freshen them up between washings. I drop it into corners of rooms that need a lift. I mix it with white vinegar in a spray bottle and use it to clean surfaces around the house and to wipe out the refrigerator. I sometimes put it in a mist diffuser for aromatherapy. I also carry a small amount in a roll-on bottle, rub it in my palms and cup them over my nose if I need to clear my airways or block out some surrounding odor (homeless person on the subway, urine in the elevator, sweaty person on the bus, other people’s bad breath or BO). I love rubbing on the bottom of my feet at the end of the day. I’ve never had problems using this oil directly on my skin but I usually dilute it, especially if putting it on thin or sensitive skin. Often I simply mix it with unscented lotion. The bottle goes a long way and the oil retains its scent and potency for a long time.

Cedarwood (Ceder) has a very strong scent
I purchased 4 bottles of the cedarwood oil to use to repel the annual autumn Stink Bug and Box Elder Bug invasion in St. Louis MO. They arrived overnight safely and none were broken or leaking, all the droppers were just fine. I did not even bother to dilute the oil. Poured all 4 bottles into an old spray bottle and went to work spraying this all around the exterior door and window frames of the house. The only place I sprayed indoors was around the holes in the closet floors where the air ducts travel down to the first floor from the attic AC system. The color is bright yellow and scent is VERY STRONG traditional cedar, much stronger than a ceder chest usually smells. I'm sure it will dissipate over time. I don't mind the scent, but I would not use this stuff undiluted indoors anywhere else except as mentioned above. Even that may have been a bit too much. I just hope it actually works to repel Stink Bugs and Box Elder Bugs this fall as the temp starts to drop. If it repels anything else, like squirrels or other flying insects or bugs, I'll be very pleased.

Good product, needs better packaging.
I purchased this oil earlier this year. It smells fantastic. The scent is very concentrated. Thr only complaint I really have is when I received my oil it didn't have a flat cap on the bottle to seal it. It had the dropper as the lid. The bulb on the dropper is made of silicon and it absorbed some of the oil as it rattled around and osmosis ensued. So some of the oil did come out, but during the time I've had it. I haven't had any issues with it leaking unless the bottle lays on its side.

all 4 oz bottles, any brand, are scams
Such a same, was actually the pine floor cleaning scent, otherwise known as urinal cake smell...... Look at the reviews below. It hurt my nose to smell, and disappointed me, being scammed: this is not peppermint oil, but pine cleaninng scent. I've bought pine essential oil for years. In fact, I've bought several types of essential oils, under different brands, but all the same.......all the same scent whether sage or whaterver. These bottles, all brands, 4 oz are a scam.

Very potent, the real thing
I bought the peppermint, very potent. A little goes a long way. I mostly bought to deter spiders. I cut up a small pantyliner and put a few drops on that and peeled the back and stuck to back and bottom of furniture. Just be sure and use the dropper. I tried to pour with the cap and the cap came out, peppermint everywhere. I went to clean it up and my hands smelled like peppermint for a long time.

Not what I expected
It is just ok. I expected a stronger fragrance than this provides. It is pretty weak and really hard to tell if it is a cedar odor

Cedar works to repel cats
I use Cedar drops around the yard, to repel cats, it does work. I don't care much for cats doing business in my yard. these drops added to the redwood chips do work.
