We have several Ego products, and recently purchased this 14-inch Ego Rechargeable Chainsaw to replace a very old gas powered chainsaw. So very pleased with the purchase, another Ego product that did not disappoint! The 14-inch length is perfect for residential use. The chainsaw is easy to carry, maneuver, and use. Charges quickly with long battery life. Shares the same battery with all other Ego products, so handy to not have to mess with a wide array of different batteries! The chainsaw if powerful, too. My husband Jim made quick work of both cutting down a nasty large palm bush - see photo of the stump - and cutting up a wooden pallet and an wooden wall tent support pole. The Ego brand is more expensive than other rechargeable brands, but considering the durable construction, easy to use and long lasting products, and the ease of same battery for all Ego products, the extra expense is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this unit a few months ago, i used it on a few 2 inch branches for the first time it cuts great but the chain fell off in the first few minutes. took me 5 to 10 minutes to figure out how to put it back on for the first time. I tightened the chain after and only made cuts without deviating the saw make a straight cut or the chain might come off, after that the chain never came off. The saw is very easy to use and the 5ah battery lasts a long time. I'm glad that I bought it, my gas chain saw it somewhere in the basement with its gas and oil. Just be aware of the chain falling off, straight cut and let the saw cut don't force it.

Légère, facile à utiliser, ne prenant pas beaucoup d'énergie, cette petite scie facilite la vie. Nous habitons dans une région éloignée, et lors de grands vents, il arrive de temps en temps que des arbres tombent dans notre chemin et le bloquent. Cette scie est suffisamment puissante pour nous permettre de dégager la route. Je précise que je suis une femme de 75 ans... et que je n'ai aucun problème à m'en servir. Cela prouve à quel point c'est aisé à utiliser. J'apprécie énormément tous les outils Ego. J'ai également une souffleuse Ego 56V que j'ai utilisée tout l'hiver dernier. Je l'ai tellement appréciée que je viens tout juste de faire l'achat du modèle auto-propulseur, plus robuste et que je n'aurai pas à pousser. Longue vie aux produits Ego!!!

Have used for bigger trees and small branches. Works as expected and lasts longer than anticipated. Happy with purchase.
