Effective and a good value.
It's tiny (be careful with your fingers) and cheap. However, it is effective, at least for my wife's kitchen knives. I've sharpened all those knives with this tool and it worked quickly and the edges are satisfactory, particularly given the limited effort expended. It's a draw-through sharpener with all the usual advantages and drawbacks if that type and I wonder how long it will last (but, hey, it has lifetime guaranty!). Anyway, initial impressions are positive. I believe I will get my money's worth.
