This is a wonderful supplement and an excellent brand. It really works and I only take half the dose with a cinnamon supplement and it brought my A1C down a little and my glucose spikes weren’t as high. Start low dose and pay attention if you have any stomach discomfort and ask a doctor how to proceed. I always go by my symptoms and adjust from there to my comfort. It’s a marathon. Not a race. Watch for hypoglycemia symptoms (and do not take with other glucose reducing supplements without a doctors approval) and have some glucose test strips on hand to keep track of your sugar levels and journal everything. This is a great product that was recommended to me by my naturopath. It keeps my gut in order and when I stop taking it I notice a difference. It's an excellent brand which is why you pay more. Highly recommend but as always check with your dr first. I actually had a friend struggling for months with tummy issues. Multiple tests, multiple Dr's telling her to take antacid.
