I only had a few books on one particular shelf, so treated myself to a beautiful pair of green agate bookends. Everything was fine until I started to add to my book collection - not massively, I still only have 14 books there. But last week I took 1 book down to read and it started a domino like effect. All the other books started to slide in each direction until one of the agate bookends nearly fell off the shelf and shattered onto the desk below. So I looked on here and found this. It is perfect for my needs. Not too tall. Not too bright a colour. Doesn't need to expand any wider. The fact that it has dividers makes a huge difference in stability. You can take out a book from any location and it does not disturb any of the others. It certainly doesn't start a mini landslide. And I can still place the original agate bookends either end without them looking out of place. Personally I thought it was a little bit expensive, but then again all these type of things are. And it actually does the job so overall I am very happy

Bought this because I liked that it was expandable and had a little pen pot, I have this on the shelf of my computer desk and use it for PlayStation games but I would definitely consider buying more for additional games and also books. Decent little product, does feel a little flimsy but it’s not really something you would be moving constantly so it’s pretty good in my opinion. Nice minimalist style to it.

I have several A5 folders and an a5 pad on my desk next to my laptop, and they inevitably kept falling over all the time, knocking other things over onto the floor. This device is a godsend! Now everything is neat and upright, no more things falling to the floor, and it is not bulky like traditional bookends, so I have actually saved space. Expands or contracts to exactly the size needed. Good range of colours too to match your office decor. Only had it for a couple of days, so can’t say how resilient the paint coating is, but gave 5 stars because I am an optimist! 3 1/2 years later, I confirm it has stood the test of time and still looks and works great

It's simplistic and holds up well, every literary work can find a place to rest. Manga - comics - novels, you name it. It'll probably fit if it's not too bulky or thick.

it's a good product, wanted something to display my books but without the DIY hassle of assembling a book case, this is super easy its ready made, stores alot more books than i was expecting too, have about 25 books in it, have purchased 3 of the product for a table display storage of my books

Just use it as a bookend, the expanding bit not so much as it is to much fuffing around with it every time!
