It actually works!!!
I purchased the large cat rug so my cats couldn't jump over it exiting their cat box and it really did the trick! The rug pile is very thick so the litter falls through the top layer and is caught up beneath the top of the pile. It is vacuumable or you can shake it. It looks nice and I just couldn't be happier with it! It's soft and looks just like a regular rug. It is a bit heavy but that's ok, at least they're not scooting it around in the bathroom. It probably catches 90 percent or more of the cat littler! It's an amazing and "necessary' find if your cats track litter! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!!I haven't washed it yet, so I'll update it then...

Really great cat litter mat!
Such a great product! best cat litter mat ever. it really traps the cat litter. The only problem is that my girl kitty Trixie started peeing on it :(. i’m so upset about it. But luckily, I was able to soak it in some of the Amazon enzyme cleaner and now it does not smell like cat pee, but I’m not able to use it as a cat litter mat anymore. I do use it in the entryway from the garage into the house. Trixie is not allowed in there. It does a great job getting stuff off of our shoes so we don’t track it in the house. Also, works well on my daughter‘s wheelchair when she rolls in the house from the garage. It really gets the junk off the wheels. It’s really easy to clean. I just stick it in the washer and then let it dry outside.

No more litter scatter underfoot! Finally.
I’ve noticed that when our cat litter boxes are on carpet the litter scatter is more contained vs. hardwood floors and rubber mats. We’ve been using top of the line rubber kitty litter mats but the litter seems to get everywhere.I could feel the litter under my bare feet spreading to each room. Ugh I read a lot of reviews and decided to give this kitty litter mat a try. I went with grey.Hallelujah! It prevents litter scatter better than anything I’ve tried. The quality is great, it’s soft, the color is accurate, aesthetically pleasing and it stays in place. I shake it outside once a week.

Mixed...
So far very mixed on this mat!On one hand it's really pretty, soft and big! Just visually appealing in general. The pink is more of a bright orangey pink. It's definitely what your eyes will be drawn to. Personally I wish the pink was lighter, like a subtle blush pink to match the other pink in my room, it just pops a little too much for me.It does seem like it would catch litter well, but honestly it looks and feels just like a bath rug? So I'm wondering if a bath rug would work just the same. I got this because of the big sizes available.I want to love it, it's nice to walk on.... but here's the big thing!!!! my cats don't seem to agree??? I've put this mat infront of the litter box in my room and my cats do everything to avoid walking over it. I've watched each of them jump right over it. They even seem to use this litter box way less now compared to the bathroom one.... in fact they did not seem to use it last night at all.I've sat them on the mat to show them it's fine and they instantly run or jump off it... I don't quite get it myself? It feels like a plush carpet... but maybe to them it feels weird on their little paws? I'm considering returning it but wanted to give them a couple more days

If you have a NORMAL CAT, this mat would be ideal
I don't know if it's commendable or pathetic, the delight most of us take in providing our pets with things we think will bring them enjoyment or improve their health and wellbeing. Pathetic or otherwise, I was so looking forward to my cat's pleasure when she stepped out of the litterbox onto this soft and comfy litter-trapping mat. (Not to mention how happy I would be at less litter tracking around the house.) But after a few days of use, I noticed no reduction in the amount of litter on my hardwood floors and area rugs, and almost none on the mat. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't helping, and as my cat seems to be rather stealthy when checking into the "Sands Hotel," it was difficult to find the reason. Finally, I caught her LEAPING OVER THE MAT at check-out time. She was perfectly happy walking onto the previous (and not quite effective) litter catcher I was using, which was a plastic grid tray, and couldn't have been nearly as comfortable as stepping her little paw pads onto this plush, super-soft new mat. But just like humans, cats have their personal eccentricities, and when adopting an already-adult feline with a completely mysterious past, it can take a while before the full assortment of odd character quirks reveal themselves. And one of my recent adoptee's idiosyncrasies is apparently preferring to exit the litter box onto a hard surface rather than having her toes caressed, and excess litter removed, by a soft mat. Maybe she'll be interested in using it as a nap mat at some point. But for now, I've rolled it up and stored it, returning to using the former ineffective plastic litter trapper (which she perversely doesn't jump over), and continue to sweep multiple times a day, yet no matter how many times I sweep, I still hear the sound of litter granules exploding underfoot. But this is a great mat, and most likely any other cat would welcome it. As other reviewers mentioned, it comes very nicely packaged, with clear cleaning instructions. But of course we can't expect a warning caveat that the rare, odd cat may shun its appeal. Your cat(s) will surely love and appreciate it, and so will you.

Very nice quality! Good enough for human use!
Very nice quality. Well packaged, arrived on time. Good weight, nice backing, won’t slide around, catches litter. This is the medium, 24” x 20”. I was looking for a smidgen larger, but couldn’t find. This size works, though for my small bathroom. See pics. Definitely nice enough to use as a bathroom mat for humans. lol. Highly recommend.
