Dritz Sheer Silk Organza Press Cloth, 22" x 30", White

This is such a great idea and will get tons of use in my house. I love the sheerness and quality of the fabric for protecting items that you are ironing. The price was good and I suspect this will last forever.

I wear business attire for work. I've always strived to be careful with the iron. I rarely use starch but use a water sprayer/mister along with steam (medium) setting. After creating a small shiny spot on a couple of work trousers, I started using a different type of pressing 'cloth' which was actually made of a plastic mesh. Results were overall good, yet never really liked this pressing cloth. That thought occurred to me while shopping on Amazon one day and purchased this one - - actually CLOTH and does a much better job. I believe it keeps the clothing safer from even light scorching which can ruin a garment, and quality business clothes aren't cheap. My mother used to have something similar for as long as I could remember growing up, almost looked like a cloth diaper but don't believe it was. My only complaint is I wish it was bigger, but I highly recommend and would buy again.

The price for this is perfect. You can use it on all heat levels from very hot and steamy to a low iron. It prevents shine and protects the fabric, just as it is designed to do. It's only problem is the unraveling. It WILL unravel, unless you make a seam with it. Once it begins to unravel (which was very soon after purchase, I think I used it twice), it deteriorates very quickly. I'm about to use an adhesive seam and I'll see if it stops it. If I don't post back, then it means it worked. Now I did try buying [[B001I1P48S this one]] but the product description (at the time of this writing) does not say what it is made of. To my dismay, it is 100% polyester. I'm amazed that reviewers are so pleased saying it can take the heat very well. Polyester isn't supposed to take high heat. Needless to say, that one was tossed to the side and maybe I'll use it as wide mesh cheese cloth or something. As for this one, I can vouch for the heat settings. Works like a charm! It only loses 1 star because it should have been seamed.

In the past I used paper towel. The cloth is great and much better. Definitely would buy again.

Used to press delicate fabrics or whatever........it's fine. You can sort of see thru it a bit as well, so you can see where you are ironing.

Never used a press cloth before, but bought this on the recommendation of someone in an online forum I belong to. It does what it says it will do and keeps cloth from burning when ironing it, so it gets five stars.

As a person who has burned many items, I can't recommend this enough. I have used this for ironing and steaming whilst travelling. Great for Travel and also anxious ironers.

This product does not protect from shine. Wasted €10 and ruined sweater. Don’t buy this.
