I've had this for a little bit now and it's made such a difference for my son. My son is about 3years old and is on the spectrum for autism. This helps him when he starts having bad episodes to calm down and sleep!

Ok, I have a 10 year old that still gets up in the middle of the night. She does have anxiety but I didn't put 2 and 2 together to think they were related. I read up on weighted blankets and decided to give it shot given the affordable price for a small one. She has slept all night in her bed alone for the past 2 weeks!!! The impact to our entire family's rest has been awesome. Usually she would wake her sibling, me and her father at least 3 times a week in the middle of the night telling us she couldn't sleep. I feel like we have helped her in a big way to feeling comforted when she goes to sleep.

I am 6'3", 210#, and I bought the 60"x80" 17#. This works well on my side of a split king. I put this blanket with a down comforter on top inside a duvet cover. Critically, this blanket has loops at each corner, for tying inside the corners of a duvet cover. This combo is heavy and warm! The heaviness definitely is soothing and relaxing, and although maybe not a complete cure for waking up at 3 AM with your mind racing, definitely worth testing in your program to enhance sleep quality. It has helped me.

This blanket is worth all of the hype. I recommend to everyone. Though weighted, it remains cool. This is a HUGE plus, as I hate to be hot. The size is perfect for my queen-sized bed. 30 lbs is perfect for getting that remembered feeling of Mommy's homemade quilts. It forms the best sleeping coccoon.Only drawback...you do not want to get up.
