Masterplug Weatherproof Electric Box for Outdoors, 345 x 220 x 126.5 mm, Green

It’s a bit pricy, but it’s worth it. It offered the best protection for my LED light drivers in an outdoor lighting system.

Used to organise and protect my garden light switches a total of three light outdoor switches with thick cables. It held up very well even during the worst storm we had lately.

Good item

The Masterplug WBX-MS has quickly become a staple in my garden and outdoor setup. It’s one of those “buy once, use for years” pieces of kit — simple but built to do its job well. ✅ Why it works so well: • Truly weatherproof – After weeks of rain (UK-style drizzle and full-on downpours), not a single drop made it inside. The seals are tight and the clamping lid locks down firmly. • Good internal space – Easily fits a chunky plug extension and multiple adapters without it feeling cramped. There’s also room to run cables cleanly out the bottom while still sealing the lid. • Versatile mounting – It’s easy to secure to a wall, fence post, or even use freestanding if needed. • Great for temporary setups – Perfect for Christmas lights, patio heaters, outdoor entertainment gear, or a pond pump. 🛠️ What to be aware of: • Lid can be a bit stiff at first – But it softens up with use. That stiffness is probably what keeps the weather out! • Check your plug sizes – Very large timers or awkward plug designs might be a tight fit (though most standard ones are fine). 💬 Final thoughts: If you need a reliable, no-fuss weatherproof box for outdoor electrics, this one does the job excellently. Feels solid, protects well, and is more spacious than it looks at first glance. I’d confidently recommend it for both permanent installs and seasonal use.

Use this to hold a power bar and part of our CCTV system. Been through a lot of rain storms and perfectly dry inside.
