If part of the 30% is a soap/detergent to help disperse it in the spayer and cling it to the leaves, then we NEED TO KNOW. Otherwise, it helps to add some dish soap to the mix of water and neem oil. But not too much! **Q: What's the difference in the Max and the regular?** A: I have the same question. It's not more concentrated. The only difference I can see is that this is cold pressed and the other is a clarified hydrophobic extract. Given the label "max", I'm lead to believe cold pressed is better but not sure. **Q: What mix should be used as a dormant spray on apple trees** A: While Neem oil is safe for apple trees most all year, even when dormant they actually sell a dormant oil… which is basically mineral oil. Amazon has several dormant oils available or you can google some very simple homemade dormant oil recipes.
