I’ve been using the ThermoPro TP49 Small Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer for a while now, and it does the job without any fuss. It’s small, simple, and easy to place anywhere thanks to the stand, magnet, or wall slot on the back. The screen is clear and the numbers are easy to read at a glance, which is really handy. I also like the little comfort smiley icons – they give a quick idea of whether the room feels too dry, too humid, or just right. The readings seem accurate enough and update quite often, so you can keep an eye on changes without waiting long. For the price, it feels like good value. It’s not fancy, but it works well for keeping track of temperature and humidity at home or in the office.

A family member asked me advice on humidity and the best monitor to display this in their home. Research suggested the ThermoPro range were very popular and importantly accurate. Just a basic hygrometer was needed showing the humidity and temperature, this model fits that bill. Inside the box is the hygrometer, battery and instruction booklet. The hygrometer is nice and small however the font of the information on the display is bigger than some on larger displays so for people who maybe have issues reading this is ideal. The font is clear to read. There is a stand on the back of the unit and you can switch between Centigrade and Fahrenheit being displayed on screen. If the humidity is in the normal range a small face on screen will display this as added info. When I set it up I compared it to two other hygrometers I have and it was close to one but a small difference to the other. The other monitor is a cheap, basic model so the ThermoPro appears accurate as expected. So overall this is a great little hygrometer with excellent functionality at a very good price.

Works well. Shame it doesn’t have the Bluetooth connection that it used to have. There’s no connection to the apps with this device. Real shame. Otherwise it’s a good little thing. Clear display that shows humility and temperature along with a happy or sad face to show moisture levels if good or bad.

Ordered one of these to check the humidity in the house after reading about humidity levels in homes. It is smallish but that’s good and appears to be well made. I wouldn’t want a large one! Very easy to set up just insert the battery supplied with it. Easy to read even from a distance and displays temperature and humidity. Our humidity levels got a smiley face on the display which was encouraging. High humidity causes damp and mould and too low can cause health problems so we are very happy with our result.

Does Exactly What It Should I picked up the ThermoPro TP49 to monitor the temperature and humidity in my home, and it's been really handy. The compact size means it fits on a shelf or desk without taking up space. The smiley/frowny face icons are a nice touch for quick reference on comfort levels. What It's Not: No WiFi or app connectivity, but honestly, that keeps it simple and reliable. If you want smart home integration, look elsewhere. This is just a solid, basic monitor. Worth It? I bought this hygrometer to monitor indoor humidity because I'm getting zapped constantly when I stand up from my chair due to static electricity, which even causes my monitor to switch off. I decided to test its accuracy using the salt method recommended on the ThermoPro website. I placed the hygrometer in a sealed container with about two teaspoons of salt moistened with nine drops of cooled boiled (or distilled) water which created a stable 75% humidity (which means it works perfectly) and the device stabilised around 72%, which is within the manufacturer’s 2–3% tolerance. Overall, it’s accurate, responsive, and great value for the price. It reacts quickly to room changes (updates every 10 seconds). Very easy to set up...just insert the battery. Sleek, minimal design, lightweight, and compact. No WiFi needed, just simple accurate readings. Pros: - Consistent and stable readings - Easy-to-read display (big numbers) - Quick response to temperature/humidity changes (every 10 sec) - Within expected accuracy tolerance - Digital hygrometers don't need to be calibrated unlike the analog ones Cons: - Slight calibration offset (reads about 3–4% low) If you want a reliable hygrometer and you’re willing to understand the small accuracy range, this is an excellent choice.

🌡️J’ai acheté cette station météo de bonne renommée ThermoPro TP200C afin d’avoir une idée de la température intérieure et extérieure qu’il fait. Je recherchais un appareil simple sans inscriptions gadget (date, jour, heure etc…) avec une lecture rapide, simple à paramétrer, petit et discret, assez fiable, le tout avec une bonne transmission des données entre les appareils, peu onéreux et surtout fonctionnel ! Après plusieurs recherches de modèles, j’ai opté pour celui-ci qui, selon moi respecte ces critères. Cet appareil est convertible degrés Fahrenheit et Celsius. 📦 Packaging : Cette station est livrée dans une petite boîte en carton avec toutes les instructions en anglais 😩. Elle comprend l’émetteur et le récepteur ThermoPro, emballés individuellement dans des sachets de protection, livrées avec 2 modes d’emploi en plusieurs langues (Français inclus) qui sont très bien détaillées, rapide et simple à comprendre. Mais également une liste téléphonique pour contacter le SAV. De 4 piles AAA pour les deux appareils, mais je recommande de mettre des piles de longue durée comme des Duracell. 📝 Description des appareils : - La station météo (élément intérieur) LxHxP : 5,5x6,6x2 cm Je dirais que cette station est de ce qu’il y a de plus basique, simple à paramétrer et en plastique de bonne qualité. Les données inscrites sont clairement identifiable et à gros caractères. L’affichage est scindé en deux parties. IN-> temp. intérieure / OUT-> temp. extérieur. On y retrouve également le canal (CH) de l’émetteur ainsi que un pictogramme de transmissions des données qui s’actualisent toutes les minutes. Une encoche pour une fixation murale ainsi que un aimant sont présents. Si vous possédez d’autres émetteurs de ce même modèle, Il est possible de voir toutes les températures (jusqu’à 3) où se trouvent les émetteurs disposés grâce aux canaux CH1, CH2 et CH3. Le bouton se trouve au dos de la station par simple « clic ». - Le boîtier émetteur (élément extérieur) LxHxP : 7,5x6,5x2 cm C’est un petit boîtier étanche à la pluie qui se place à l’extérieur qui transmet les données relevées à la station d’accueil. On y trouve un voyant à led rouge qui clignote toutes les minutes. (cela montre le bon fonctionnement et la bonne transmission d’info à la station). Une encoche est intégrée pour une fixation murale uniquement. Astuce : vous pouvez placer le boîtier émetteur/extérieur dans d’autres pièces de la maison (chambres par exemple) qui transmettra la température à la station d’accueil, attention de bien individualiser les canaux. 🔎 Données et transmissions : - J’ai pu constater qu’il y a un temps de latence de transmission des données entre les deux appareils d’environ une minute. - En comparatif, avec un autre thermomètre il y a un léger décalage de température minime de 0,1°C, mais reste très précis dans ses fonctions. ✅ Points positifs : - Bonne communication à distance entre les 2 appareils. (environ 5 m pour ma part). - Paramètrage facile et rapide. - Bon rapport qualité/prix (19€85). - Plastique de bonne qualité. - Mode d’emploi clair et simple à comprendre. - Un aimant de fixation est collé sur la station mais pas sur l’emetteur. - Norme CE. ❌ Points négatifs : - Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas une petite surbrillance de lumière permettant de voir dans le noir l’affichage. - Un aimant collé au dos de l’émetteur extérieur aurait été apprécié pour le fixer sur une paroi en fer sans percer. - L’affichage de l’hygrométrie est absente de ce modèle. - Pas d’application pour vérifier la température depuis un smarphone. ❗️En résumé : il répond à tous mes critères de recherches. Il est simple utile pour une visue directe des températures int. et ext. 👍🏻 En attendant, je recommande parfaitement
