Dixon China Marker, Black, Thin Lead, Dozen

I was disappointed with the quality of packaging, and how it came to me, however the quality of the marker itself is satisfactory. I will use these for window painting and the lines stay put and it want to erase anything it's easy to remove. The transparency of the marker on glass isn't that visible unless you go over it twice, but that's okay for me since it's purpose is for sketching only.

I would definitely buy these again. Cheaper versions crumble easily and force you to keep pealing them to reveal new tip. These have a harder writing tip than some other brands which has allowed a thinner writing line while also preserving the tip. I would definitely buy these again if and when I needed them. I only which a box of 12 came in a multiple color option which would be most cost effective as a consumer. GREAT quality product for the price.

these are great for writing our baby's name and date on her food/bottles for day care, as required by state law. As with any wax pen I have used, I can never figure out how to peel it properly for use... it ends up taking minutes to peel, too much coms off and then the wax breaks.

Great label markers for outside as well as inside use. Price is reasonable, and shipping was quick.

These thin china markers do not peel correctly like the thick lead ones. I tried four or five, and the paper peel keeps breaking. It is very frustrating. Also, the lead breaks way too easily when writing. I would avoid this product and just get the thick lead ones.

I love these grease pencils -- and Dixon is the "best" brand. I write/read a lot and use these yellow (and red and blue) pencils to emphasize and slash. I am trying to get Dixon to sell me the green ones too in an end-user friendly size (one box of 12) -- I will keep working on it! Sharon H

I use it for artwork, usually Newsprint paper, sometimes regular printer paper. On Newsprint sheets, the pencil works very smoothly, creating nice controlled lines. But if ever i want to sketch something quickly on regular paper, its hard to bring out the smoothness that you would normally get on newsprint and comes out pretty scratchy and rough. But since i mostly use the newsprint, im almost never disappointed in the quality of the pencil. It can also be used to mark on windows, or wood pieces. These pencils have lots of different uses. One thing that personally drives me nuts is that they can sometimes be difficult to peel if you dont rip from the notches on the pencil, that are barely visible. Either mark or cut the pencil at the notches so you can see them better, so that if youre in the middle of working and you need to peel the pencil quickly, you can pull the string to the notch and peel off the paper without trouble. Overall, it has its ups and downs, but its of pretty decent quality. I would recommend it.
