What are the gloves for? You can't play a clarinet in gloves.

It’s just pretension. The idea that you should only handle such a valuable instrument with cotton gloves, makes no sense at all My daughter has an instrument that is worth 20 times this instrument and made of some African Hardwood and she doesn’t handle it with gloves this is a plastic clarinet that does not need gloves! That said I have been playing my $80 plastic clarinet happily for nearly 6 months now, and I am having an enormous amount of fun with it my daughters, clarinet teacher, objectively described it as pretty good and was gob smacked when he heard how little it cost Have fun!
