Arrived within the specified time, very good value, it wasn't clear on my mixer tap which valve was leaking, although I was pretty sure it was the hot tap, so to get the two valves for the price and for them to fit with such ease was great. I checked the dimensions before ordering, the. The only minor thing that is not apparent when you buy them is that my hot tap is on the left which requires a clockwise opening. The hot tap valve opens a 1/4 turn anti-clockwise and cold tap 1/4 turn clockwise. There's no physical difference between them other than the colour of the plastic washer. You could say the colours on the wrong valves but the one i fitted works perfectly. I chose NOT to swap over the coloured rings as i didn't want to damage them. I fitted the blue ring valve to my hot tap and put the other in a bag marked "for use on cold tap". Job done.

Well made good fit value for money

If you read most of the not so good reviews it's mostly people ordering the wrong item... It states it's for a shower and works perfectly for ours, so far it's only been about a month and no issues but also had to use one to repair a kitchen tap and although it was a little different in length, so I had to adjust the cover on the tap, the valve works perfectly Great deal for the price, can get it cheaper elsewhere but can't beat prime delivery

I used this product to replace a leaking valve on the hot tap of a two leaver type kitchen basin tap . To remove the leaking hot valve, i had to loosen with a 2mm alllen key a small grub screw with which was holding the tap against the stem spliens of the valve . This enabled the removal of the tap,then i removed the valve i checked it to see if i could find a makers inscription but it was blank. I then took the dimensions of the faulty valve and compared them to the replacement. The descriptions were excellent and very informative and the demensions were the same as my old valve. my old valve had 20 spliens on stem and its diameter was 7.5mm and 10mm in length this was important as the stem spliens need to fit into the tap head. I did not need the two 4mm screws that came with the new valve i installed it and it fitted and is working perfectly very pleased .

So far work well and whilst easy to fit, the hot and cold colour code washers are the wrong way around so meant I had to 'unfit' and swap. Whilst I should have checked first, I had expected the blue/cold(?) cartridge to open anti-clockwise but no, after fitting it on the cold water tap I found it was clockwise and had to replace it with the red/hot(?) cartridge so the cold water tap would open naturally in an anti clockwise direction (lefty loosey). All simple to do but counter intuitive based on the colours. Cartridge working fine so far but it has only been a couple of weeks.

The valve was a direct replacement for my kitchen tap, but. When the adaptor (Brass splined coupling to increase the size of the one on the valve) was installed on the splined shaft and the included screw installed, the end of the adaptor was still loose when the screw was tight. This was due to the new screw being flat(left screw in the pictures) and the old screw being countersunk(right screw) To fix, I slightly countersunk the threaded end and packed the spline adaptor with a washer. This allowed the adaptor to fully tighten down. Also, the red and blue seals are just coloured, there's no difference between the seals, just that one is fitted to the valve which is left handed and the other fitted to the right handed one. I had to swap mine as the red seal was fitted to the right handed valve and my hot tap is left handed. Apart from that it's stopped the drip.

These are Ideal for lever taps, easy to install
