I bought this to connect my planar to my dust collector.  This hose is used to connect two 3" plastic connector.  The inside diameter of this hose is exactly 3" and fitted perfectly.  I don't even need a hose clamp.  The hose wall is more then 1/4" thick and should last a long time.
