Platinum Bond Adhesive Super Fabric 2 oz

This fabric bond is absolutely incredible. This comes in a pack of 3 which allows me to have it on hand at all times. I have been thoroughly impressed with t he performance of this bond. It lives up to its claims—super strong, ultra flexible, permanent, UV-resistant, and waterproof. It’s become my go-to for all my heavy-duty fabric projects, especially when working with embellishments, trims, and thick materials like denim or canvas. What I love the most is that it dries clear and doesn’t leave behind a stiff or gummy residue. The flexibility is key—it moves with the fabric, which is perfect for wearable DIYs. I’ve even used it on items that I hand wash, and the bond holds beautifully. If you’re a serious crafter or are serious about customizing clothes, this is the adhesive to have on hand. This glue works on most fabric. I bought it to glue Velcro to some fabric and it worked well for that use

This stuff is pretty good, I gave 4 stars because in 1 out 4 separate uses it did not adhere well. Though it could have been my fault because it was near the end of the tube and and didn’t put glue from edge to edge. It has a very strong smell so be sure you have ample ventilation when using. Be aware that it dries clear but glossy so if your using it on a visible spot, it is noticeable. I used it on the underside of couch cushions so the glossy appearance didn’t bother me. It can also get a bit messy because of the thick consistency. Really happy with the results!

Worked really well putting cloth patches onto a nylon bag. Bag is used and abused daily, but the patch stays put.

This glue really does a great job.

Not sure how the adhesive works yet but it was super difficult to apply. It comes out in globs and is hard to control. The tip that was included had no cap.

I'll try to post some pics, but this stuff is great. Bought originally to mend the inner lining of a Burton jacket (which it did, and is still holding up after 5 years), but have used it on many things... fixed tearing shoes, reinforced iron-on patches, arrested tearing pocktets, etc. Most recently, it reattached a sole separating from a sneaker. ...and I have worn the sneakers every day since with the sole reaffixed. I did finally run out of my supply with this last project and am buying again to keep around the house. You have to be realistic about expectations. There are some jobs that require sewing, true patching, etc. But, if you think you might need a glue that will maintain bond, yet be flexible enough (it is not entirely flexible) to give with light motion, this is it. Once I get my resupply, I am actually going to use it on some upholstery. This stuff is great. A tube will be in my possession at all times for the rest of my life.

This product was purchased to reattach the iron number to my Roughrider Jersey after washing. Literally better than new. I applied and ironed after.

Wasn't very good. Messy application, was rubbery when dry. Used on a expensive jacket and ruined it. Won't use again.

Awesome product, fast delivery… does what it says.. holds and is water proof.

I was hesitant at first because I'm scared that it will leave a harsh surface on the applied area. However, after one overnight of "curing" the residue seems to soften up and perfectly holds the bond together. The best thing is that it easily comes of the hand and does not to stick to paper which I used to clean up the work. I patched up 4 pieces of clothing in less than minutes and the holes looked like it was never there. 2 polos and 2 t shirts.
