Can you use melted butter instead of oil to make it?

Have no idea, but I would think the butter might burn as the plate gets pretty hot. I don’t use oil as I like my popcorn naked ( no oil or butter or salt). Yeah I know most people would think 🤢.

How is the lid a measuring cup…? There’s no marks or anything on it. Does one “lid full” equal a certain amount?

I don’t use anything to measure how much coffee grounds I use. I use a filter and fill it to almost the top. Depend on how strong you like your coffee.

Can you make kettle corn in this? For example, using sugar to make kettle corn.

I don't see why not but I would check the owners manual or contact customer service to be sure.
