User manual not received. Is there a way to get my hands on it or even download it? This was a birthday present and being told it is missing.

I don't really think a manual is needed, all you really need to know is to soak stones in water for around 15 mins, the lower number stone the rougher it is, so badly blunt knives start with the 400 then work up, use the guides which slide onto the back of the knife then that's pretty much it?

Does it come with a storage box or just in a cheap cardboard box?

The original packaging is just a standard cardboard box, but given the price I paid and quality of the items I was more than happy to find my own container for storage.

Is the angle guide set at 20° or has it got both 20° & 15° ?

Hello, the angle guide should help you to keep an angle that's at least 10° at sharpening. It really doesn't have a fixed angle, because even with an angle guide, the angle was still controlled by you. Also the blade of your knife should affect it too, if it's longer, the angle should be lower, if you see what I mean. It is really depend on you, you will learn to sharpening without the angle guide sooner than you think.

Is this the set or just a stone

It's a set, with everything you need, including 2 honing guides for knives. I've been obtaining really good results.
