Universal lock very easy to install, good quality. Very reasonable rate. Fit in my car seat, I give you five stars for the safety reason.

We purchased the Safety 1st onBoard 35 LT Infant Car Seat. The buckle in-between his legs was so big and bulky that it was leaving red marks on his legs. Keep in mind, he is a small 6 pound baby, so I can't even imagine what it would do if he had chubby legs. We tried this as a last resort before having to purchase a new car seat and thank goodness we did! Because it worked!! We're so happy with the results! The buckle is more narrow and the strap is a little longer so it comes higher up on the abdomen. We're thrilled!

As you can see, we descend further into "you can sell anything to a rube on Amazon!" this buckle is nearly half the width of standard. Not only is this more likely to fail, it adds much more stress and strain on the body in case of a collision. I just discovered carseat manufacturers replace this part at lower cost that Amazon. And comply with NHSTA. Amazon is again a complete failure at offering quality inventory. 0 stars if I could.

They are difficult to snap together. Two parts have to be attached side by side and then snapped onto the Center. Waste of time and money.
