The best I've come across
These screws are fantastic. No plugs to come out at some fateful day in the future. Simply drill a hole and screw them in. And forget. I recently removed some of these screws, from an open air environment, that they'd been in for some twenty years. They came out with the ease that they went in, and virtually free from any rust or corrosion. The screws being in a fit condition for use elsewhere. Being hexagon head, they're very robust against insert tool damage, unlike the Philips equivalents.

Buy the thicker ones
These thinner ones tend to snap under the strain of an impact driver. I suggest purchasing the slighter thicker ones instead. They work excellently. Don't forget to push forwards hard as you drive them in.

Impossible to screw in
Not deep enough to get a screwdriver in to screw them.

I planned on using these screws to drill into concrete. I didn't use the included bit but my own 5/32 SDS bit to predrill the holes. I then used a cordless drill to screw in the fastener. On the first screw the head broke off. I thought maybe it was a bad one so I tried another screw and the same thing happened. I switched to a lower power drill and went at a slow speed and the screws kept breaking. After drilling eight holes and having eight screws break I gave up. I had a few Tapcon screws left so I used them with no problem. Not only are these screws poor quality they are dangerous if you plan on using them for anything that you don't want falling down when the screw snaps.

I don’t know how any screw bites into concrete, but these do it. The key seems to be pre-drilling with a bit one size smaller than the screw’s diameter. With a 1/4 inch concrete screw that would be a 3/16 inch concrete drill bit, and so on.

High quality product performed very well. Why does it have to be so expensive?

Had 17 to drop into 6 total 16x16x4 precast cement blocks. Didn't use the bit that came with the screws because I have an SDS hammer Drill. Using a 3/16 x 6" bit that I marked at 3.5" pre-drilled the holes to 3.5" ea. of the 17 screws dropped into the 4" blocks, 3 of screws heads snapped off long before the screw could have bottomed out. Ended up having to drill 6 more holes as I had to move 3 of the 2 hole brackets in order to ensure the fencing structure was properly anchored. Compared to Tapcon, they are slightly less expensive for a similar quantity in my experience, but also slightly less durable. Perhaps quality control is less stringent, so If you hate having additional unwanted holes in your work projects, you should probably consider another brand. If the holes won't be visible and you can afford some errors, then these will work just fine.
