He has needed sub q fluids 3 times a week for the past ten years due to a genetic kidney disorder. I pick him up and carry him to the den where the bag of fluids is hanging up. I place him on the ottoman where he lies down. Carrying him in there always used to leave a huge amount of his black and white fur on whatever I was wearing. Also he likes to hang out with me and lies all over my lap which results in fur getting on my slacks and sweaters most of which are black. When I found this apron on an animal website, I was thrilled as it is long and covers me completely. I am no longer am constantly lint rolling my clothes or sending them to the cleaner. Because I am only 5' 3 I want the bib part up close to my neck so I simply cut the tape that is around my neck and then just tie the 2 pieces together. I am thrilled with how clean and comfortable that apron is. I have just purchased one for a close cat owning friend of mine. She is very excited.Thank you Amazon for having them for me to order. Here is why:Pros: Waterproof apron, sturdy thick (but not too thick) fabric, wipes clean, long enough to cover knees, not too long to make moving around difficult. The ties in the back are long enough for me to tie, but not tie back around the waist, which is fine because then they could get wet.Cons: Neck is NOT adjustable. I wish I could pull it up higher to protect my neck and chest area better.
