Has anyone tried this on a 1500 ram?

I don't have a Ram 1500 but I have a RAV 4. I tried this thing in nearly every location I could find. The clamping portion that holds it to the mirror support can't be tightened enough to make it stay still. Every bump in the road makes it shake. The part that holds the phone is fantastic. But I wanted it to stay semi still so I could read the directions or see the map feature on my phone but it was not to be. I even tried to clamp it to the shaft of my shift lever but even that didn't work.

Can you mount garmin 65 gps on using the ball mount?

It should work. However, I wasn’t pleased with the way it mounted my phone. Kept coming loose and falling off (the entire mechanism not my phone)

Will this fit a 2015 wrangler rubicon

This device will fit almost any vehicle that has a fixed mounted mirror on the front windshield. It can be attached to anything that has a cylindrical/square shaft or even a shelf. It shakes when you hit a bump but if you don't hit any bumps, you're fine. The clamping portion does not tighten down enough to keep it from shaking.
