Okay, so I bought these as a sort of "might as well try" item after receiving an e-mail from Vibes about them (because I have previously purchased the original "Vibes" product for noise cancellation at concerts and such and any time I forget to bring them to even the smallest of venues/clubs/bars I remember why I should NEVER forget and wonder how I got by without them, but I digress...). I've moved recently and thanks to never-ending construction noise have regretted the decision pretty much immediately. These are a GODSEND. If I didn't already know what kind of sound was surrounding me, then I wouldn't know what kind of sound was surrounding me! :) They dull down construction noise immensely and even help with snoring noise to some degree. I didn't know it was possible for an earplug product to actually work without waking up to unbelievable ear hurt. Within a couple of weeks of use I bought them as a gift for a friend too. Wow! I vowed right then and there to include some of her text to me in a review. Two months later I'm finally getting around to it, so here, Vibes, for you (and thank you)..."And no they totally don't make your ears sore, which is amazing. I cannot wear ear buds because my ears feel like they're on fire afterward. I love these ones you got me. I also love that they're so shapeable. They completely conform to your ear hole and it's magical." Oh, and I like the convenient plastic case too.

Great prod. Does the job

I had high hopes for these but they simple don't work for me. I have tried using smaller chunks and larger chunks but after creating a seal they simply don't stay that way and the seal is quickly broken and then I can hear the noise I am trying to block.

I use these ear plugs every night. I have tried other brands, but they aren't worth the savings, or the money spent. Most are sticky and don't cancel the noise. My husband is a noisy sleeper, mostly snoring, but I can sleep right through it with my Vibe ear plugs. They conform to your ears easily, and they aren't sticky. I also take them on vacations with me, not just because my husband is a noisy sleeper, but all of the noise in and around the hotels. I never hear kids running through the halls, or sirens outside on the roads nearby. I would recommend these ear plugs to anyone that is looking for a comfortable and reliable pair.

The best sound reduction devices are over the head ear muffs but it's nearly impossible to sleep in bed using those. This product cannot offer that level of noise reduction but I have found it to be a good compromise in terms of effectiveness and comfort. They don't go into the ear canal like the foam ear inserts which usually wind up making your ear canal sore. These work for me most of the time but extreme noise is still going to wake you up. I'd say give them a try. They might be just what you want.
