Excellent Quality
I waited a little bit to use this belt before I am giving my review. When I ordered this I was in horrific pain from herniated discs that popped out again and knotted muscles in my hip. I had another belt but when I went to use it the air kept leaking out so my husband found this one and ordered it right away. The other one I have had for years was the Dr. Ho belt which did help me many times but it started leaking. This belt has infrared heat and that makes it a game changer! The infrared heat has helped my hip pain from the knots and working them out with a knot blaster which is painful and causes a little bruising. So the heat really helps that pain. The decompression part of the belt works very well too and my disc has gone back into place not pushing on my nerves, thankfully and thank God! This belt did quit working one day so I plugged it in and it finally came back on. I had charged it just fine the day before so it should of worked. So I put in a note through Amazon to the company and they got back to me right away. They wanted me to take a video of this happening and I could not get that done (no one to help) but the very next day it started working again without it being plugged in so I wrote back and told them and how happy I was with this belt and they told me to contact them again if I have anymore problems. So it is good to know that the company was very helpful. So I absolutely highly recommend this decompression belt mainly because it really works and will help with discs, nerve pain and the knots and the bruising. The knots just melt away in no time. I do use it daily on my hip for the bruising mostly now. God Bless Everyone!

not a magical cure, but
This is a long story. The day after I ordered this, ideally for my husband who has a chronic back problem, I hurt my back. Pulled a muscle? tweeked a spinal nerve? slipped a disc? cracked a rib? don't know other than it HURTS and if I move wrong, the muscle will spasm so hard a literally jerk my body into un-natural positions. So when this came in, it went on my body rather than his. First, seems well made, a lot of detail including a support placket on the back of the band that has a little pouch so you could use this with a cool pac or add a small heat pac for localized heating or longer heating. The inflation part is manual. you get a pump and the hook up to the belt is interesting and takes a little bit of attention to get it right at first. Because it is manual it is not affected by battery life and if you're comfortable you an leave it on all day. The heater unit goes around the entire belt, not localized to your back. The controls are easy, and like the pump hook up, require a little bit of attention until you get used to what buttons are where. The heat aspect is why I chose this belt over others. and while I stand here typing this, have the belt hooked up to recharge the battery for the heating unit. You will get at minimum 2 uses of the heater at maximum output for the maximum time (30 minutes). I'm overweight. Actually, by the actuary tables, I'm obese. and the belt fits my waist without using the extension. Think my waist is about 47". Its a just barely, but it fits. The extension is just a bit of material with the velcro on both sides so you hook one side of the belt to the pad, and the other side/end to the other end of the belt. Should give you another 4, maybe 6 inches. Am wearing this over what amounts to a snug tee shirt to protect the belt from my skin oils and protect my skin from any irritation. At Maximum temperature it is NOT uncomfortable. As far as the pumping the belt up to stretch out your lower spine - not so much. At least not for me. Maybe if I had it snugger, but then I'd be too uncomfortable to have it on long. As it is, my back injury is higher than the lower back, just below the shoulder blades. So have the belt as snug as I can just under my bust and then I pump it up for nice even pressure and support. and while my comfort level is still pretty uncomfortable, am not getting the severe spasm-ing I was experiencing earlier. This morning, got this all together, put the heat on high for 30 minutes and made it through my dog walk. a cool damp morning in relative comfort. We were longer than 30 minutes and once the heat was gone, the discomfort level was high enough to have me wincing, but again, without the severe spasm-ing. As I didn't spend $100+ for a pressure only unit, consider this one a win. It may take a few days of using this and moving slow, but am not having to resort to any kind of medication - not even aspirin - to get me through this healing process. and again, I bought it for the heat aspect more than the spinal adjustment, and that works just fine! UPDATE the little USB socket on the unit came loose and fell into the box. No more re-charging!! Switched to using one of those microwave heated pads while contacting the seller. VERY FAST response and a new unit sent immediately. EXTREMELY pleased with customer service from this seller.
