Edit: is it true that they have 8 balls?

I'm not sure the ball count but I will tell you they are the fastest bearings I've ever had. They are almost to o fast. I've had to re-adjust my approach speed to obstical at the skate park cuz I'm just going to fast.

What is the difference between the G2 and G3 bearings?

The only difference between G2 and G3 is quality control - G3 comes sealed in plastic in a sealed metal container still prelubed. The G2s come in paper box and are usually pretty dry. Because of this, G3s are typically the better bearing out of the box. Btw all the other answers are stupid

the G2s are a cheaper version of the G3, the G3s have a rubber gasket design that helps keep water and dirt from getting inside the bearings.
