Very well made
The box is well constructed and sturdy. It is solid wood with a hinged lid and carrying handles attached to the sides. The interior is nicely lined with a heavy material with multiple sections to put your silverware. It is quite large, so be sure you have a space to store it. Overall very nice storage box that I expect will last for many years.

Quality chest - holds everything
I love this chest. Holds so much! Great quality. Slots are spaced well and lined nicely. Over 24 place settings with multiple specialty and serving pieces all fit nicely.

Well made - only criticism: the Rosewood was a little too orange in color for my taste
Well made - Fits our 32 place settings of Silver with no problem.I just was expecting a little deeper tones of wood grain from the rosewood cabinet.

Good, but not great!
The chest seems to be more capacious and solidly built than others on the market.However, the quality is not great. This is actually the second identical chest I purchased -for the reasons described in the first sentence of this review. The wood appears to be arelatively thin veneer and is a slightly odd color - more of an orangey brown rather thanrosewood. The first chest had 2 surface blemishes; the second has a drawer that is slightly askew.Nonetheless, the integrity of the chest appears to be greater and the item more durable than alternative choices.

Poor packing materials with damage to chest
Poorly packaged for shipping and the result was one back corner was damaged and most of the styrofoam was shattered. Inside the knife panel had fallen off and had to be reglued. If it weren't so big and heavy I would probably have returned it. The size is great for my needs but overall the quality is substandard.

Sterling silver chest
It's well made - a quality item. Actually, I already reviewed it! The color was not at all like that shown on line - the recipient of my gift wanted a mahogany color and the one I recieved was striped.

Cheap and Junky! Do not buy
This is not sturdy, the craftsmanship is very poor. It is NOT mahogany or rosewood, it’s balsa wood with a cheap, poorly applied veneer. It falls apart out of the box, this is my second box I have received, and I returned the first thinking it was damaged. Turns out these things are just terribly cheap. Absolutely not worth the money. Do not purchase. 1/10 would not recommend.
