Love the sweet floral smell and flavor of the dried osmanthus flowers. It enhances the flavor of any tea, green tea and black tea, or just by itself. It’s a generous amount but there are some impurities (some dried leaves or grasses) which didn’t bother me much. I just rinse the flower with hot water once (to remove any potential pesticides or insecticides) before immersing into the tea.

I've never had osmanthus tea before, but I enjoyed this one. The flavor isn't as sweet as the scent, so I suggest adding some sugar or honey. I've also used it in some desserts and jellies with good results. The packaging is just a plain resealable bag with a tiny label, so the presentation isn't the best. The shipping was very fast, and overall I'm satisfied with the product.

No sweet-scented osmanthus scent at all。bad and don’t buy

I've had osmanthus tea before so I have something to compare with and I'm quite disappointed by this one. While it looks good--not much impurities--it also tastes heavily sulphured, which is not pleasant. On retrospect there's no preservation information about this product so it's perhaps my fault not to investigate thoroughly before buying.

I grew up in Hangzhou, China where we use osmanthus flower for various drinks and deserts. I am so glad I found this on amazon. It smells and tasted just like I used to have back home.
