An Engineering Masterpiece Disguised as a Pencil
I've been searching for the "perfect" mechanical pencil for years, and I think I've finally found it. The Pentel Orenz Nero isn't just a writing tool; it's a piece of precision engineering. The main feature, the automatic lead advancement system, is nothing short of magical. You click once to start, and then you just... write. The pencil seamlessly feeds the lead for you as you go, meaning you can stay in a state of uninterrupted flow whether you're taking notes, sketching, or drafting. Combined with the classic Orenz anti-breakage pipe, I've been using 0.5mm lead without a single snap or crack, which was previously unheard of for me. The build quality is immense; the unique resin-metal composite body has a satisfying weight and a cool, tactile feel. The all-black "Nero" design is stealthy and professional. Yes, it's an expensive pencil, but you're not just paying for a name. You're paying for flawless performance, innovation, and a tool that makes the simple act of writing an absolute pleasure. It has truly exceeded all my expectations.

Wonderful
Amazing product, and feels very high quality, having a suitably heavy body. Nice to write with, with auto-advance system for the lead. Looks stylish, and although slightly pricey, definitely a good investment if you like mechanical pencils!

Precession and Quality
I love this mechanical system and ease of use, not really very light but it feels good in hand. Appears beautiful and Quality is amazing. Only drawback I feel its functionality over automatic lead release doesn’t seemed to be working.

Excellent pencil. Doesn't need feeding every minute and writes well.

Overrated
This pencil feels good in the hand. The grip section has a texture to it to help with grip and is made of metal. The upper barrel is plastic and with a metal clip, making the center of balance just under where the two halves are separated by the band in the middle. Build quality is good, there's a slight rattle of the lead tube, not enough to be annoying but it's there. Now for the gimmick, the sliding lead sleeve, the reason most people would be considering getting this pencil in the first place. Does it work? Yeah, but not very well. I bought this to use with some fragile red lead, and yes, it does do what it says, but the lead sleeve itself scratches the paper with every stroke and it doesn't feel very good to use

Good.
An excellent mechanical pencil. Very comfortable, perfect size, good grip, and not too heavy. A bit expensive, but better than cheaper pencils I've bought in the past.

It's a great pencil that feels very premium. The one downside would be the price.

Magnifique. Bel objet en plus d'être super efficace. Un peu cher mais si vous travaillez beaucoup, ça vaut la peine.

The slim profile allows for a very comfortable feel in the hand. Allows for many angles to write for different writing styles. The pencil is lightweight and very well balanced allowing for long periods of writing comfortably. Solid construction with no wiggles or play in the mechanism. The long grip section is a great feature. The grip itself is perfect, not too rough like a lot of other pencils with metal grip sections which can be too abrasive for the fingers. The auto lead feed works great but it also means the lead pipe is always exposed. So care needs to be taken when storing the pencil. Finally the design and all black finish is just beautiful. Highly recommend this pencil.
