Could not make it through the summer without this for my horse!
It's like Gatorade for horses! I'm on my fifth bucket of these electrolytes - and what a godsend! We are in south Florida, where it's hot every day of the year. In summer the temps hover around 95-100 every day. I don't ride often in this weather but even after I have turned out my horse for some exercise, I'll give him electrolytes. Thankfully, he loves the apple flavor and eats them with no problem. I can see the difference between my horse having these electrolytes, and some of his barn buddies he likes to play with out in the field. After they come in they tend to lie down from exhaustion. I wish I had the right to share some of these with all the horses in his barn but it's not allowed. :-(.

My horses really enjoy eating this in comparison to adding in the powder. It smells like grain and does the job at keeping my horses replenished. I give this to my senior gelding (33 years old), my gelding with Cushings, and my mare with insulin resistance. I notice that it helps them when they are especially hot and needing to recharge.

This work good for my horses. My horses is drinking a lot of water now.

Good product, bad packaging
The product itself is great, the packaging is terrible. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. it's been delivered, the top has come off and the entire bucket has spilled into the shipping box. No bueno.

Horses will eat this electrolyte!
I have tried many different electrolytes. All the others were powders or crystals that were either sprinkled in with the feed or added to water. I have not had much luck with my horses eating or drinking any of them. These pellets are the solution to my problem. I add these into their grain and they gobble them up. I can add more or less depending on their needs and I know they are getting the electrolytes they need. These electrolyte pellets smell great. The horses seem to like the taste and they are not left in the bottom of the feed bin as other electrolyte products have been. As typical of Farnam, the Apple Elite Electrolyte Supplement is of high quality. The best part is that I have these on a subscription so they show up when I need them and I never run out!

Pellet electrolytes are the best
My horses leave powder electrolytes but gobble these right up, great price for the size
