Ancient Nutrition Grass Fed Bone Broth Protein Powder, Vanilla

Fantastic Protein Powder I honestly couldn’t be happier with this protein powder! I’ve been using it in my breakfast every morning with two hard-boiled eggs, and it has been fantastic. I have Crohn’s disease, so I’m always a little cautious when trying new protein products, but this has not upset my stomach at all. That alone is a huge win for me. I’ve also noticed that I seem to have a lot more energy since I started using it. I love that it helps me get a good amount of protein in first thing, and then I’m able to sustain my protein throughout the rest of the day naturally through real, whole foods. I’ve tried different protein products before, and this is by far one of the ones I’ve been happiest with. Great taste, easy on my stomach, and it fits perfectly into my morning routine. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant taste, no after taste the bone broth is thick and does not mix well with cold drinks unless you use a blender or a frother, you can use it in your coffee but not very hot coffee also making a smoothy you can add a scoop, but whatever way you use it make sure you blend it up in your blender or frother otherwise you will have clumps of bone broth

Like the clean ingredients, and flavor,but, it does not mix well and clumps and gets sticky. Works better in hot .

First of all, I was hesitant to spend so much money on any kind of protein powder, since I already use Garden of Life Raw Meal daily. I drink hot bone broth daily, however, and I am going on vacation soon. I needed something more portable. After reading the various reviews about the taste, I was reluctant to try it for the first time. I am not that picky, but some powders cross the line if they are too gritty, or taste like lawn clippings. When I got my vanilla protein I opened it and took a whiff just to prepare myself. I couldn't detect any chicken flavor. All I noticed was an aroma that was something like butterscotch, with maybe a hint of caramel. Not bad. Then I mixed it with plain water, like I do with all of my protein powders. The first thing I noticed was I could stir it quickly into my water and it dissolved completely. It didn't clump. It wasn't gritty. It tasted to me just like it smelled. I would call it butterscotch with a hint of caramel. I didn't detect any chicken or vanilla. It tasted like a treat. Some reviewers feel it is too sweet. I don't. But it's a nice treat with only 2 grams of sugar. It is too soon to tell, but hopefully it will have the health benefits of my frozen bone broth I enjoy at home. Taste-wise I definitely prefer this over the bone broth. It's summertime. Who needs a hot drink when you can have a sweet treat? I will be ordering more tomorrow.

I’ve been using Ancient Nutrition bone broth on a daily basis in a smoothie for about three months. My general health has improved and I have lost weight because my appetite has been satisfied. I recommend this product highly.

It arrived without any packaging around it. Just a brown plastic container that could be anything from anywhere. For the price of this product, a less suspicious container would be important. I tried to return it without opening it - but was denied a return. I understand it is not good to return food items, however this came with a problem I had nothing to do with. I'm disappointed with Ancient Nutrition for allowing this kind of sloppy marketing whereby I am now concerned about using the product that may have been tampered with. My thought is to toss it to prevent concern. It is an expensive alternative for me - but I have NO idea if it is safe to use. Be advised that Ancient Nutrition does not seem to be concerned about their product presentation, perhaps the same is true for their ingredients?

I bought this after dealing with some whey intolerance that left me unable to finish my other protein powder. It is super clumpy, but I have found that if I mix a glass and put it in the fridge for half an hour or so, the clumps disappear and the consistency is just fine. I've left it mixed in the fridge for up to three days before drinking with no issue. I've purchased both the chocolate and the vanilla and to be honest I don't feel like there's all that much difference between the two flavors. The only thing that I do not like this protein for is it doesn't do well in baking. With my whey protein, I could sub half of the flour for whey protein and the recipes would come out pretty normal. Not so with this bone broth protein.

My doctor suggested the Ancient Nutrition products which I have done. They are easy to use, taste fine and hopefully doing what the product is said to do.
