Very good value - more durable than they look
I bought these a year ago to protect my berries. They were easy to assemble and held up really well. I put them directly into the ground at least a few inches. They stayed where I wanted them to be but also removed easily when I was cleaning up the garden. I forgot to bring them in over the winter (Cleveland, OH area) and they are still in great shape. The clips even held bird netting on through snow, ice, and wind. They seem kinda flimsy, but both the hoops and the clips are impressively durable.

Easiest Way to Protect Your Plants
These hoops are my young plants’ and tender greens’ new best friend. Living in South Louisiana, we are no strangers to voracious critters, disease-ridden bugs and harsh weather conditions. These hoops helped to provide the protection our veggies needed, improving the quality of our harvests big time! We had a lot fewer problems with insects eating our crop as well as the sun scorching the tender leaves. Squirrels and birds were kept at bay and we didn’t have to worry about damage from frost on those rare occasions. They are super easy to install; we used them all of last year (2 growing seasons) — they held up great. They survived some really windy weather not to mention driving rain and scorching heat. We used them in raised beds with wooden borders, which I’m sure helped with the support, but we never had problems with them falling over. The rods didn’t break and they didn’t rust (they’re fiberglass), but the ends got stained a bit with rust from the connectors. No biggie. The only downside is that the clips that came with the rods are kind of flimsy and are not easy to work with, especially if the fabric you cover the hoops with has any weight to it. Overall, I would highly recommend these hoops. They saved our veggies from all sorts of dangers, easily and organically!

Light-weight hoops that are easy to assemble
These hoop pieces are about the same strength and feel as a light-weight fishing rod. They are NOT heavy-duty, but that is likely OK as they only have to support some lightweight netting (have to get that separate). The fiberglass pieces slip into the metal connectors easily. Might want to tap the fiberglass section on a hard surface to seat it into the coupler for a tight fit. I connected SIX fiberglass sections together for each hoop, and they bent easily for inserting into the soil over two rows of kale plants about 14' long and 1.5' apart. The plastic clamps were easy to use when fastening the netting to the hoops. I think this is going to be just enough to keep a deer from getting its snout close the kale. I worry a bit about a thunderstorm, but I am betting it won't be a problem; the netting I used is very light and will not offer much resistance to allow the hoops from get carried off by the wind.

Great idea poorly executed.
These function great, held my pest netting perfectly, and were easy to put together and install. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because they're already breaking after one month of use. I did buy the ones for a smaller bed width as recommended since my vegetable bed is under 3ft wide. I think I will come up with a different solution next season rather than waste my money on the hoops. The price is cheap but I at least wanted one season out of them. If I had to buy replacements every month they would end up being very expensive in the long run. Its a great idea but need to be better quality materials.

Flimsy And Unstable
The connectors don't hold the rods securely. It was difficult trying to set them up as they would pull apart when I was trying to assemble them. After 1 day of use with a light weight sun shade, some of them came apart and the sun shade fell on the plants. I didn't use the green plastic clips that came with the set. I bought the Samhopo clips, which worked really well, and I would highly recommend those. The rods weren't very stable in the ground either. The wind would shift them around out of their positions. I had to use duck tape the ensure the rods would stay fastened. Moving forward, I think I'll make my own supports and use these rods to hold up tomatoes.

Great garden cover supports
Work great for supporting garden cover cloth. Fiberglass rods are sized right and have the right amount of flex and strength when making arches to keep cloth up off plants. They do real well withstanding summer storms too. The little green plastic clips that clamp cover cloth to the rods are exactly inspiring but replacements are cheap and available when the wear out.

Works well, needed more than anticipated
I ordered the 25 pieces kit for just under $12 (before tax) and used it with netting that i ordered separately. With my 25v pieces i was able to make 2 large arches to go at the end of my cauliflower and broccoli bed, which is probably about 8 ft long and 3.5 ft wide. I used bamboo steaks in the middle of the bed to keep the netting from dropping onto my plants, because i only had enough poles left to make 2 small arches to go on the ends of my cucumber bed (cukes climb up the fence on the back part of my garden). I tied my netting to the fence at the top and used the arches on the ends to keep the net off the plants, also assisted by rocks holding the bottom of the netting pulled out tightly on the ground. Worked well, no issues with the poles other than i needed more... Will probably order more next year as this season is coming to an end soon (here in NY).

Great Hoops for Raised Garden Beds!
These greenhouse hoops worked out great for our raised garden bed. They were easy to install, flexible but still sturdy enough to hold the netting securely. The size fit perfectly, and I like that you can customize the setup for different garden beds. We’re using them with mesh cover to protect the plants, and so far they’ve been doing an excellent job. Even after being outside in the sun and weather, they still hold their shape well. Definitely a great option if you want a simple DIY mini greenhouse setup for vegetables or flowers. Very happy with this purchase!

Perfect for a 4x4 planter
Easy assembly. Seems strong. Hopefully the sun won’t weaken the poles over time. Very happy with the product.

Easy to use.
Easy to use. Just make sure you hold pieces together while inserting into ground. Sturdy even though it’s less than 1/4 inch diameter.
