I was hesitant to buy this item even after reading the reviews because it is SO darn expensive, but gosh am I glad that I bit the bullet and bought it. IMMEDIATE relief - no joke. It stabilizes your CMC joint so well that while you’re wearing it, you’ll forget about the pain that comes from that joint. I can wear this and still do my HIIT workouts with no issues. It’s small, easy to put on/off, it really helps - a win-win in my book. Much different from my Mueller brace which is softer but bulky (try using a remote with that on) and constantly unwraps around the thumb. (that being said, I do still wear it to bed at night) Don’t know why it is listed as a “frequently returned item” since it works!

Fits as expected. I love how it protects my CMC joint. Comfortable except inside edge of thumb. A thin cushion which we attached to the inside edge helped that. I do like the amount of support, very helpful.

Love this!! Tried a knowkoff cheaper one didn't like it . I returned it and bit the bullet and bought this one .( Exact brand at Orthopedic office I tried on). And it's perfect....I forget I have it on ..helps tremendously with pain and extremely comfortable..well worth the money. Thank You

I wear this when I am scrolling, or have been scrolling to the point that the pain is not bearable in the space between my thumb and wrist. It's spendy - but works!

I bought this specifically for arthritis in my CMC joint because my orthopedic doctor recommended it. I have been using it for about three weeks now and I finally found the best fit for my needs. It takes a bit of trial and error to adjust the thumb and the straps so you can get the most range of motion without pain. I did order a separate fabric “liner” to wear under the brace because the hard plastic and the straps are not comfortable on their own. A few things that I recommend: get the “liners” for under the brace; be patient and keep adjusting the tension on the thumb until you can move without pain; I found that adjusting the thumb worked better when the brace was off, it hurt to squeeze it while on, so it took a little more time to find that sweet spot. This brace does give me more range of motion and support when doing things that I could not do without it. The cons are the price, especially since I had to order the fabric liners, the difficulty in finding the correct tension in the thumb, and it would be nice to be able to remove and replace the straps if you are getting the brace wet a lot. Over all I am happy that I am able to have more support in that area but I think some of the less expensive braces would do the job just as well.
