This product is perfect for your Mini Cooper if your trunk piece is broken like mine. It came with the two lights for your license plate, was packaged super well, and looks amazing; you can not even tell that it is a replacement piece. Super easy to install just need the right screwdriver took me no more than 10 minutes.

This replacemente worked great on my 2010 Mini Cooper S when the truck latch stopped working. It was easy to install (or as easy as any auto part is, in my opinion) and blends in seemlessly with the back - even though my original handle was in laser blue. This one gives my car a nice silver tail, I suppose. I've had it on my car for a few years now and can attest to its durability, too. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it. Don't hesitate to give it a try - it's much, much cheaper than going through a mechanic or dealer.

Perfect fit for my 2012 Mini, and it works. The rear latch door started clicking/unlocking all on its own. Discovered it was a bad switch in the door. Found a YouTube video showing how to replace it. I'll review it here... You need a T20 torx screw driver, and a flashlight to see what you're doing. Remove 4 screws. Assembly drops down, hanging by the wiring cable. I had to use quite a bit of force to pull the connecter loose. There is no lock tab or anything, just a straight pull. Be sure to examine the connector hanging on the new assembly to see what you need to pull on to remove the old assembly. Be careful not to let the wire slip back into the door hole. Video recommended a small clamp. After some minor door cleaning, plug the cable into the new assembly, test the door with your key fob to make sure it works properly, then push the new assembly back into position and redrive the screws. Done.

So cosmetically this thing is fine. Once it is on, it looks like the original. It is not the original, but you're not paying the $280 for the original. The lights worked, and you can't tell the difference. It is missing the rubber insert for the plug, and the one of the original won't fit, but you probably will never need it.

The headline says it all. All you need is an Allen wrench, some needle nose pliers to remove the electrical connection and around 12-15 minutes. The hatch handle looks very nice and works like a charm. It can be a little difficult finding the button to release the hatch, but this is due to it being new. Recommended.

The part arrived in a secured package and it fits and work perfectly except the lights in them are not bright enough. A good aftermarket oem part

Received item as received. Easy set up. When you install it you have to lock your doors first which impresses lock twice then you press the button on the back for it to activate and it opened my trunk. Happy with my purchase

Good item and suited the purpose

The number player light has crumbled into pieces and no longer works. The once piano black colour is now grey. I would of expected this to last a few more years

The wires were bare and it was missing the electrical plug
