MCIGICM (100 Pcs) 5mm LED Light Diodes, LED Circuit Assorted Kit for Science Project Experiment (Multi-Colored - 5 Color)

I have used these LEDs in many projects and all have worked well. They are bright, the positive lead is clearly longer, they mount securely when pushed into a properly sized hole and glued, and the color variety is helpful. I have used them in Bravo Box I designed that plays encouraging sounds, in a Christmas tree with electricity from a dynamo powered by a toy steam engine, and in greeting cards that light up when you press on the front of the card. The voltage required to light depends on the color. The white and blue can be directly lit without a resistor with CR2032 3 Volt batteries.

Lights were great but the blue and white ones, lots didn’t work and had to throw out.

Good little LED assortment. Theres not a ton to say about them. They work and are priced well. I do wish they would have came seperated not all in one bag. Thats why it gets a one star ding. I was able to find the specs from the manufacturer easily online. If you do not want to search here they are MCIGICM(manufacturer) forward voltage is W/G/B: 3v-3.2v R/Y:2v-2.2v maximum current is 20ma Head of LED is 5mm wide. Overall height not cutting and measured on anode long pin is 25mm. Height from tip of shorter cathode is 24mm

Excellent LEDs for home projects. I will purchase again if needed.

These were exactly what I was needing. I was happy with the brightness. I was sending about 18 mA through the LEDs and the yellow LEDs were too bright to look at for my eyes. Good value for the money.
