If you're anything like most people, you can't live without your favorite beverages, whether it's the life-sustaining cup of coffee that you drag to work with you every morning, the endless gulps of water and electrolyte-fortified sports drinks that keep you going through a long afternoon at the gym or a tough practice session with the company softball team, or the iced tea that you sip while you're unwinding at home and watching the sun go down. You don't need any help to enjoy your drink as it warms you up, cools you down, or gives you the energy you need to tackle a full day of work and play, but like everything else in your life, savoring the moments that you spend sipping your beverages of choice can seem a little trickier once you think about all the errands you run, miles you drive, and tiny annoyances that you have to shrug off during all your waking hours. After all, how much caffeine can you get from coffee or tea that spills all over your lap or splashes the fabric on your passenger seat whenever your car has to make a sudden stop? How are you supposed to cool off with a glass of lemonade or a freshly opened bottle of soda if it's already disgustingly lukewarm by the time you have the chance to take your first gulp? Why is it so hard to stay hydrated when you're dodging potholes with your car or truck, bobbing along on the waves of a nearby lake during your latest vacation, or bumping across the city on the last train home? With the way it's designed, it'll be easy enough for you to click one of these lids open whenever you want to take a drink or take it off entirely when you need a refill, but difficult for the contents of your cup to spill under any other conditions, which gives you a chance to enjoy all of life's most refreshing, thirst quenching comforts even when you're on the go. Review: Great Lid - Great lid. I've ordered 3 of these for myself and friends. All had excellent fit and finish. Slightly tighter fitting than the original Yeti lid, but nothing to complain about - if the seal diameter was slightly smaller, it would seal just as well and be easier to use. Again, nothing to complain about, and that's the only "issue" I can think of, which is pretty good. On that note, the tight lid does stay attached when I put my empty cup in my bag, keeping those that couple of drops in my cup. Possible that it fits differently on cups other than Yeti. Easy to clean and effective at retaining liquid. The sliding cap is very secure attached to the lid, but pops right off for easy cleaning. Good, simple design that was not over-engineered. The sliding cap can be tight at first, but slide it back and forth a dozen times, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and it'll function much more smoothly - I'd rather have a tight fit from the get-go and have to break it in, rather than a loose fit that ends up breaking. Oh, and mine sometimes whistles a little as I drink, haha. Overall, I'm very happy with this product. Review: A dribble is better than a spill any day!! - These lids fit my Yeti 20oz.perfectly. Now I can close off the opening to prevent liquid from splashing out. Its not water tight, but when tipped over and lid is closed whats inside doesn't flow out, maybe a dribble or two before I can upright it. This is what I was looking for and well satisfied. If I wanted something water tight I would have gotten one of those flip top straw containers, but I hate sucking on a straw. So would I recommend this top yup and have been doing so to every on that I see with the Yeti units.

Very nice lid.
This lid fits just like the original. But with the added benefit of being able to close, this keeps dust and other unwanted items from getting into my drinks. The only con, is the sliding cover can let the liquid out. Not water tight. But the original with a open hole, was much less water tight. :)

The lid works great and will keep you from making a mess in ...
The lid for my 20oz works as advertised. Once you put on the lid and it seals it won't leak. When you put hot liquids in your cup leave slide open then close because it needs to seal 1st or lid won't go down all the way. This is not to say you can't make it leak but it takes a lot. I tested it initially by using water turning upside down and shaking, eventually I got it to spill some water. The lid works great and will keep you from making a mess in your car. I want one for my 32 oz cup now.

The seal seems good, as well
I bought this to replace my RTIC lid that cracked/chipped when I dropped my cup. Pros: It covers my drink and keeps it hot for longer vs. the original RTIC top that is open (whyyyy??). The seal seems good, as well. Cons: It slides very easily - like rocking your cup back and forth easily. This seems to have lessened as I've used the cup and here's why - you can't easily get it fully clean because coffee gets trapped underneath the slide. You have to soak it and even then - I'm guessing I'm gonna have to get some kind of a water/vinegar mixture going to really get it clean. I use this daily, so it's hard to take that much time every day to get this lid clean, so yuuuuck. Not sure if I'd buy this product again, but also not sure what other alternatives there are to have a closed lid on your RTIC cup. Ohhhh the humanityyyy.

Not Made by Yeti But You Would Never Know It
I bought this for my Yeti 20 oz. tumbler, but then discovered that it also fit my 10 oz. Yeti tumbler. It is very well made, and of Yeti quality. It seems to be made of the same material as Yeti original products. The slide has a very positive feel, and clicks into place. When open, a straw fits easily through the opening, or it can be used for sipping directly such as coffee, etc. If turned upside-down, it is not totally drip proof, but stays on very well. It was gone through the top shelf dishwasher a few times with no ill effects. I think this is a great aftermarket lid.

Great Lid for my Yeti Tumbler!
It makes no sense to me that my Yeti tumbler, which is designed to retain heat, has a hole in the lid allowing heat to escape! And they don't sell a different lid on their website. I found this lid on Amazon and it is perfect. It has a sliding piece that covers the hole on the lid and keeps the heat in (or out if you have an iced drink) and also prevents splashing. The lid fits as snuggly as the Yeti lid and the price is great.

Keep Your Original One
This lid is so hard to remove from the Yeti tumbler that you have to be careful not to burn yourself if you have hot liquid in it. The sliding closure on lid will not stay open when you try and drink from the Yeti. It is frustrating and I finally put original lid back on Yeti. Waste of my money.
