absolutely in love!
I haven't owned one of this companies products in over 20 years. back then it was a duster, and I was a lot smaller. I haven't even thought about the coat in ages because I don't work with horses anymore. NOW - this jacket popped up on my feed and I was OMG I have to have this. I ordered the largest size they have available on amazon and sadly it didn't fit me in the biceps. so I had to return it, and order direct through the manufacturer to get the next size up. not Amazons fault I am bigger than I should be in some areas of my body, but I won't trade the muscles either.anyway about the coat! I was so happy to find out that they are still made with very good quality! in fact I would say that the oil skin products will last for many years even with hard wear and tear. The Jill -a-roo is a lot warmer than you would think it would be and has an inside draw string that you can use to make it have a more tailored fit look, if you aren't a fan of the boxed look. it is shipped without any adjustments to that, so be aware! it does have side snaps that allow you to sit down without unzipping the coat as well, in a car or on a horse is probably the thought. As with all oil skin products there is a slight almost greasy feel to the outside of the coat when it first gets to you! So I don't recommend hanging it in your coat closet up against your wool and such. With use that feel will dissipate, however so will the water proofing. there is a long time you will be able to enjoy the happy medium there! get into a habit of letting it have a little room to breathe to it's self!it is very easy to take care of oilskin! I recommend waiting for summer if possible to retreat with their duck back wax. this allows you to hand it in the sun, to make sure you are only getting a thin layer, and allowing it to cure afterwards. I am sure there is videos out there with tips and tricks, where back in the day we had to fuss around and figure it out. if you manage to get the coat dirty a sponge with some water on it should help you wipe whatever off with little effort.if I could give a higher rating for outback oilskin products as a whole it would be high as well. these are products you buy and take care of, then have for 20+ years.

Out-back Trading Co - Jill-A-Roo Ladies Jacket
I love it. I ordered the black jacket and it fits perfectly. I live in a rainy climate so it is perfect. Comfortable, warm, and keeps me really dry. I would definitely recommend it.

Great jacket!
Took twice to get the size right. I am normally a large or extra large but the extra large was huge! Returned and Ordered a medium and it is perfect. Loved the berry (more of a maroon) but wasn’t available with free returns in medium so I ended up with the black. Seems like a well made jacket and can’t wait to use it! I also really like the way the collar and hood fit .... recently went to Scotland with an inferior rain coat and quickly realized how important hood design is when it was something I had never considered before! Love the dual zip zipper as I ride horses and can see this being a great feature when riding!!

Read my review!
It’s comfortable, nice pockets, pretty color, and fits true to size. Nice zippers and accents; it’s nice quality. However, I returned it as I felt it wasn’t very polished and tailored looking. I was just looking for a different fit/style than what I received.

Perfect coat for Ireland and Scotland!
It was waterproof and windproof! I wish I would have gotten the one with thicker lining though it worked great with layering. I was surprised how warm and dry it kept me walking all over Ireland and Scotland!

I love this jacket
I love this jacket, warm, waterproof, adjustable, stylish. I was concerned about the initial fit because it seemed large but I was able to adjust the waist and it fits perfectly.
