I have mature, processed hair. This product adds shine, limits shedding, helps with breakage. I found it does control frizz, and days later, hair still is not frizzy. I like the softness and it does smell pretty nice. I go several days without washing my hair, so if I need to spruce up the style, I add more of this product to my dry hair without it feeling greasy or weighed down. I WILL buy again.

I really like this serum because it smells wonderful and it doesn’t make my hair greasy, nor feel weighed down. However, it doesn’t smooth my hair, nor keep my hair from frizzing. The serum sort of absorbs and after a few minutes, the hair looks like it did before applying. I use it mostly for the scent and a protective layer. My hair is thick, curly (3B) and dry. I also have thinner, finer hair at the front, and a more coarse texture patch at the back of my hair. I wouldn’t say this serum is great at controlling frizz, or keeping the hair smooth. Nonetheless, it’s a good option for mixed hair, I’d you’re using heat as an added layer of heat protection.
