It works! And I have facial hair. No worries. Just have to hold your mouth right. Literally. Of couse it isn't going to eliminate ALL of the odor. It doesn't work miracles. It is a portable hand held personal smoke filter. It doesn't really suck in odors. You must blow the smoke through it for it to function. Whatever wafts from the pipe or blunt isn't going to pass through it. I carry some Ozium along to deal with that. All things considered this beats trying to blow it out of a window and just hoping for the best. It isn't perfect but until they make something better this is my Little Buddy when stealth is needed.

I had a defective product and was told they get the item from someone else so they can’t replace it and if they could the new one would be the same way (broken). SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I have had this for two years. I don't smoke per se, but I do the somewhat healthier alternative. If you're trying to hide your use, and if you're in a zero tolerance place like a hotel room, this is a great device to own. It still works like new after dozens of uses. Like I said, your mileage may vary depending on what you do.

Perfect! I’ve bought a smoke buddy before and it came time to replace and this one seems to have a much better filter because it’s so easy to blow through! Not to mention I love the detail on the outside. It’s a great price to pay for something so helpful and convenient, because the smoke is pretty much non existant with this thing!

Its great and works amazing. However these things always work great at first. I will update this review in a couple months and see how it held up. I used to have another one of these things and they only lasted 2 months. A good tip is to shove cotton balls in it if you want to keep the res out and have it last much longer which is what im going to do with this one. If it lasts at least 5 months without becoming impossible to use, im happy. :)

The gap between where you put your lips to the actual filter is to large. You have to blow out super hard just to get the smoke to go through it! I would say a majority of the time 20% of the smoke doesn't go through the filter and goes back into the air. I think the junior works better .

it still smells like smoke afterward.

I love that this product really does purify the smoke when it comes out the other end. No smell after at all. This can obviously only control the smoke that you are exhaling into it. It is truly a personal air purifier that works like magic. I am SO happy with my purchase.
