The filters are very good quality filters. The size filter works well in my whole house water system, and are easy to install. These filters are a good value for the price, and much less in cost than purchasing them from my water conditioning company. I also like the Amazon subscribe and save, the filters arrive in time for replacement.

Work fine. Catches the crud from the old pipes in my municipal water supply. Fits perfectly in my generic 4.5 x 10 filter housings. Good quality and reasonable price. I use their carbon block filters, too.

We buy these all the time for our water system. Work great and buying in bulk helps not run out. You can tell when it’s time to change them, ours last about 2 months

The product is described as fitting the W15-PR filter housing. And it does, mostly. As shown in the attached photos, the normal filters have a hard top and bottom. The 3M variety (as expected, higher quality) includes a place to seat a soft rubber ring and plastic bushing. However, this product has none of the above. It is just the innards. I nearly sent it back, assuming it was once again false advertising. But then I realized the filter is 0.5" longer than the others, and quite compressible. So, I inserted it, closed the housing, and then opened it again. Sure enough, the top and bottom rings that would otherwise center the filter and receive the gaskets instead pressed into the soft filter ends. As my headline suggests, I don't know if this will work, long-term. But I actually like the idea. These are very, very inexpensive (in the 20 pack) and when you dispose of them (unfortunately, cleaning them is nearly impossible), there is less to throw away, and just one kind of plastic which in theory makes them more recyclable. I'll circle back to this review in a few months when it is time to change the filter, and let you know how it held up.

We have had a lot of issues with our well and sediment in our water, these filters have helped our water quality tremendously. They are durable and long lasting. It is hard to believe how much debri/sediment these filters actually catch. I compared so many different filters, brands and prices before deciding to try these. I am SO glad I did! If you’re on the fence or trying to decide which filters to try (like I was) here is your sign! You won’t be disappointed.

They are doing the same quality job for 1/4 of the price of the plumbers supply shop and the big box stores.

I was a little concerned what this product was made from, but learned it was completely safe. It works so well with capturing sediment from our well, I can't imagine going back to the pleated paper type which obviously is letting stuff get by.
