This set was gifted to our 5 year old daughter and she loves it! It is a little too advanced for her to do on her own so we do the projects as a fun mom-daughter activity together. My 7.5 year old grandaughter loved this sewing kit and was able to manage with some assistance. Kit has everything she needed plus extra! Step by step instructions with pictures were spot on. I would definetly recommend . Lots of fun. Took a little under an hour to complete one of the 8 projects. Kept her attention. And the project is adorable as a reward.

Super nice! I purchased for an 8-yr-old who wanted the finished product quickly and didn't have the patience to work on them herself. That said, I think it would be a great gift for the right child of the same age.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 and 4 year old kids. My 6 year old was able to do it with minimal help and really enjoyed it—my 4 year old lost interest quickly and made me do it haha so it ended up being more work for me. The characters are really cute and my kids love playing with them! The instructions were also very easy to follow and I felt like the materials were good quality! I loved that they had some practice with fine motor skills.

My daughter is six and cannot sit still for more than a few minutes. I bought this for a birthday, but ended up getting it out early when we were stuck inside sick for a day. This kit kept us both entertained for most the day. The designs were cute, well made, and were age appropriate to put together - e.g. the holes for sewing were pre-punched which made it much easier. The stickers have stayed on well, even after being played with.

Everything is included and instructions are great. My daughter (8) and I had a hard time on the knight, but are both learning the basics of sewing. The crafts are adorable and it’s nice having everything there and ready.

Fun for my granddaughter

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. I loved that there were a variety of projects and they went from easy to harder with a star rating system. Great value. Worth the money. Plenty of thread and everything else needed. Good quality too. I would absolutely get this again. The only thing is that know that you will need to help your child if they are younger. My 7 year old needs quite a bit of help to get things lined up and started. My 12 year old nephew was much more self sufficient when working on one of the projects and needed just minimal help.
