Using this for a DC on/off and as a last resort disconnect. Pay attention to the +/- marking and understand how these breakers are designed to work.

Been using it for about a month. Seems to hold 50A load fine, unlike other cheap inline circuit breaker. So far, for the price, it is a really good value.

These breakers definitely work but caution should be used when using right at 12 volts with a weak power supply. I hooked these up for a test with a cheap 24 volt to 12 volt step down converter. When shorted, the load would cause the voltage to drop below 12v and these breakers would repetitively click but not trip. The result was very warm wires. Fortunately, other parts of my system shut down. I then hooked it up to a quality step down converter at 13.4 volts and these would reliably trip every time when shorted. I'm going to confidently use these with quality equipment for my entire setup (10 total breakers) Just make sure that your equipment doesn't drop below 12 volts. I'd also recommend checking the wire clamps after 24 hours as they like to "settle in" a bit and can take another tightening.

Fits in a small box and does it's job without self destruction. Using a DC breaker is so nice. AC breakers can maintain an arc and cause heat issues. No worries here.

Needed a safety breaker between the batteries and my inverter, this one fit the need, installed and now I have solar powered AC.
