Unbelievable price for such a full featured and quality cortec motorcycle jacket. Kept me warm during a 50 degree ride this morning. Armor feels substantial. Ordered large and extra large with plans to return the one that does not fit. These jackets run roomier than the sizing chart would indicate; 5ft 11in, 210 lb with a 44-in chest, 36 waist. According to the sizing chart on chest size, I should wear an extra large, but the large fits great (extra large was much too big and baggy) with extra room to layer other clothes underneath and that is even with the thermal liner in. I have a 20 year old TourMaster cortech jacket that has served me well but is getting a bit worn out; it will serve as my backup. I paid six times more for that jacket than this Alpha. If I get 6 years out of this Alpha jacket for the $50 purchase price on Black Friday, it is money well spent.

This jacket is very good for the price. It is comfortable to wear, well made and looks great. It has basic armor in all the right places, which beats my wife’s Alpine Stars jacket at 5x the price. Don’t know about how it sheds water yet though but Nikwax TX Direct will cure any deficiencies there.
