Reliable PoE splitter
It does what it is described as. Have been using it for a while and it has been working perfectly since day 1.

Wanted it for Echo Hub extension behind the wall
This device works but it will not work for Echo Hub. Read that the POE injector and this usb c device would do the trick but it didn’t. For Echo Hub what worked was using Male/Female USB Breakout Board to 4 Pin Screw Terminal Block Connector. I extended the wire between these terminals and used the Echo Hub white cord(usb c). This allowed me to run the extension from the ceiling to the wall mount location. You need to connect all 4 terminals to the extension wire and the Echo hub will power up fine. If you connect only the power terminal on the breakout terminal block, you will get an insufficient power sign on Echo Hub.

Hubitat (smart home) Upgrade
This was used to convert my Hubitat to a POE device, eliminating the need to run power along with ethernet. The device worked flawlessly, instantly receiving power and allowing my device to connect. I've bought a few more with the idea of eliminating plugs where I can.

Don’t buy
Power cycled every 30 minutes under light load (less than 12 watts). Horrible, unreliable product that nearly killed my equipment. Do not buy.

Plug and Play
Plug and play to power a Hue Bridge Pro off a Ubiquiti POE switch. Works great.

RaspberryPi POE Power
I’m using this to power a Raspberry Pi 4 that’s mounted in a remote location. It works perfectly. Just plug and play.

Great so far
Works as expected, no issues so far. Ultra handy to have around. Using it to power my CM4 BliKVM/PiKVM.

Tested to 3.6A
I tested mine to 3.6A for use with the PI4 and it handled that with no problem at all. It obviously does depend on the quality of the Cat5 or 6 cable you are using. I have found that usually cat 5 cabling seems to be better on the edge of transmission distance than cat 6. There isn't much about it online, but if you chop a cat 6 cable its usually thinner gauge copper better for data worse for power. The only issue you may encounter is that if you plug in heavy loads into the PI it could cause a reset since it crowbars the supply and there is very little capacitance on the output.

Funciona bien

Worked great, but for a limited amount of time
Worked great at the start, but after 5 months the connected Raspberry Pi started with Undervoltage messages. These went away with the original adaptor. Conclusion, this PoE adaptor is broken.
